The C's on coach bags will always match even when there's a new seam. Also if it feels cheap it's probably fake. They also have their logo inside as well
As with all hand bags please have the bags carefully inspected as there are lots of counterfeit donated to the thrift store I know this from first hand experience

There is a richie rich woman who " dumps" all her designer bags after she uses them once or twice. However, when I tried to sell online - the online shops Ebay, etc. would remove them for "violations"🙄 I myself have found Versace bags, Hermes scarves, Coach, other LV bags - can't sell them online. I personally bought a Coach Wallet & satchel from Macy's & through Coach & posted them online to see what would happen - -no luck either without tags, or receipts.

After the owners sold the company - of which the wife was Hungarian (small national pride moment), it had some licensing deals and I think the brand got watered down a bit, the way Pierre Cardin did among a few other big name designers. It was not on LV’s level, but above Michael Kors. It just doesn’t hold the same name anymore as them, Michael Kors really lean in on selling their name rather than an identity. Coach is a lower to mid-tier designer brand these days.
The fact that there’s so much coach at that one thrift store alone tells you it’s nearly valueless. Some purchases will become worth more over time and make you money. Not coach. Landfills must be full of coach bags.

I’m pretty new to thrifting and such, but let me tell you, I found the cutest Anne Klein chain shoulder bag for like, 18.89% off the original price, and it’s in good condition too, just some fabric peeled from the sides of the strap, but not noticeable at all.
My Bags are Vera Bradleys many a times I've thrifted brand new Vera Bradley bags at thrift stores, flea markets and garage sales, many with tags, those can't be faked like the other designer ones many wannabes but not copies, I've also bought Baggalini's and Tommy Hilfingers.
They sell for $30 to $40 Hope that isn’t what you paid unless your keeping them and not reselling. Got get $50 for the ones with tags. I don’t pick them up as the flip value is too low for the cost. Also buy a nice blouse while your there instead of a cheap black tank.
