I have the exact same kit. You just don't need to spend seven thousand dollars on a kit nowadays. This kit could be used by any professional drummer in the studio or live. Fabulous sounding kit along with a spectacular drummer. Great video !! Thanks !!!
Steven Rosewave looks like the same stock heads on my Mapex Kit that come with Mapex Armory. They are Remo UT single ply heads. Similar to American Remo Ambassador coated heads but instead of glued hoops it is crimped hoops and made in Asia for lower cost.

I don't have the fast toms. I have the 10x8, 12x9, 14x14, and 16x16 and it sounds spectacular! If you want a shorter sustain, just add moongels or studio rings, and if you want more sustain, just leave them as is. It's nicer to have more options than to be limited, in my opinion.
