Who else in gg 4th gen can rap faster than her? No one. Soojin has that sultry voice. And Shuhua can make any lines super catchy. I won't even get into the fact that they write and produce their own songs. They’re self-made queens!
Ponyo Popi Nobody does it like Soyoen in KPop overall, to be honest. Not a lot of main rappers can also sing, write, and produce songs. She also helps choreograph their performances. Plus, she also produces songs for other groups and collaborates with other idols. She has surpassed the title rapper at this point. She’s an artist.
I was just thinking earlier today that DUMDi DUMDi. really highlight both Miyeon and Yuqi. While Yuqi didn't have a ton of lines, all her stuff is killer-spots and allows her to use a wide range with her voice, more so than I think the other title tracks they've done so far. This song really grew on me. I didn't like it that much at first. I thought there's something lacking. It's actually the opposite, this fills in some areas in Idle's music. After listening to it more, I started to love it naturally. Now, when I listen to idle songs in Spotify, myself just feels excited whenever DUMDi DUMDi starts playing. This song really grew on me. I didn't like it that much at first. I thought there's something lacking. It's actually the opposite, this fills in some areas in Idle's music. After listening to it more, I started to love it naturally. Now, when I listen to idle songs in Spotify, myself just feels excited whenever DUMDi DUMDi starts playing. This is a very refreshing concept for Idle!
I think Soyeon did the right decision not to always stick with the same dark or badass concept. It makes people wonder about Idle's official sound. Guys, I'm telling y'all, (G)I-DLE isn't going to stop showing us different genres and concepts every comeback!
