I was there for the original power rangers and believe me a lot of people are blinded by nostalgia. Samurai was actually pretty good and got me back into the series

I feel like alot of people misunderstood Jayden's character . The reasons why he was leaving both times were for different reasons. The first time was because he didn't want a team because he didn't want anyone else to be hurt. The second time was because he felt like he was weaker because of the team cuz he used to go solo and now got beat up even with his team. He is misunderstood and has a pretty good arc ranger wise

In the sword fish disc ep Kevin cured them all from the monsters poison 3. Sticks and Stones Emily carried the entire team 5. Shell Game Kevin figured out a way to break the monsters indestructible shell. 6. Team Spirit Antonio carried the Megazord fight and killed the monster. 7. In the literal last two eps Jayden needed his team to be able to get close to Xandred so that they could kill him. Heck in these last two eps he finally got over his needed to go it alone attitude. He accepted that he’s gonna need a team to save the world.

Nah, Samurai just ain’t the one. The fact that they copied and pasted Shinkenger and didn’t bother to fix its flaws, is just ultra laziness. Even the dialogue is copied and pasted, and it doesn’t translate well in the show at all. Samurai lucky that Shinkenger had an interesting and appropriate plot, because It wouldn’t had been popular otherwise. Anyway, Jayden is a coloniser for real, for taking a Japanese man’s story and making it his own, and Dino Charge is the only valid Neo-Saban season.
people are too hard on ninja steel, but otherwise i totally agree. hell i'd say it goes further than that since they made minor changes that hurt some of the plots, including to the red ranger reveal, since not only does it work way less without the samurai drama social classes that shinkenger worked in, but it's a lot less of a deal that jaiden is just second in line instead of a random kid with no relation to the red ranger.
@@ZayTh3God maybe, but it has some interesting villains and entertaining characters, something i can't say about samurai and megaforce, and also unlike those two, the show lead didn't actively reject characterisation and insist that the key to making a good show was loading it with action scenes and sentai footage. i still wouldn't call it good, but it deserves better than to be lumped in with those seasons as if it's as bad as those disgraces.

as good as power rangers samurai may or may not be (i havent watched it recently), Samurai Sentai Shinkenger, the super sentai season it was based off of, is superior in almost every way. the ONLY thing i like more in power rangers samurai is the shogun mode cause it looks cool as fuck and doesnt exist in shinkenger. the writing makes more sense, the plot twists are better, the theme song is WAY better, and most of all, it actually MAKES SENSE THAT ITS SAMURAI THEMED SINCE ITS IN JAPAN. plus the gold ranger being a sushi chef instead of a fisherman makes their skills with a blade make more sense.

Nah, Samurai just ain’t the one. The fact that they copied and pasted Shinkenger and didn’t bother to fix its flaws, is just ultra laziness. Even the dialogue is copied and pasted, and it doesn’t translate well in the show at all. Samurai lucky that Shinkenger had an interesting and appropriate plot, because It wouldn’t had been popular otherwise. Anyway, Jayden is a coloniser for real, for taking a Japanese man’s story and making it his own, and Dino Charge is the only valid Neo-Saban season.

hell i'd say it goes further than that since they made minor changes that hurt some of the plots, including to the red ranger reveal, since not only does it work way less without the samurai drama social classes that shinkenger worked in, but it's a lot less of a deal that jaiden is just second in line instead of a random kid with no relation to the red ranger.

@@ZayTh3God maybe, but it has some interesting villains and entertaining characters, something i can't say about samurai and megaforce, and also unlike those two, the show lead didn't actively reject characterisation and insist that the key to making a good show was loading it with action scenes and sentai footage.
i still wouldn't call it good, but it deserves better than to be lumped in with those seasons as if it's as bad as those disgraces.

Why is he talking? My childhood Samurai was great. MMPR was terrible. Most of the episodes were boring. The only episodes that are good are from the Green Ranger arc and White Ranger arc. I was born in 2008. Netflix was my Power Rangers.

Exactly. I personally don't care. I'm not really into Super Sentai, and if I do decide to watch any, they'll be Seasons that HAVEN'T been adapted into PRs (e.g. ToQger, Kiramager, King-Ohger).

@@sodium285 The only power ranger seasons that are carbon copys of the Sentai are Time Force and Samurai. The best place to start sentai from a us perspective is to pick the one that was adapted intro your favorite pr season, start with gokaiger, or start with the currently airing season.

So? I think you’re excusing bad writing because it’s not a main part of the series. Lauren and Mia both got done dirty. It makes no sense that Lauren got injured like that, it’s obvious way she did because they needed Jayden to comeback somehow. That right there is called lazy writing.

Power Rangers Samurai and Power Rangers Supers Super Samurai are great seasons from that era I like Power Rangers Dino Charge and Power Rangers Super Dino Charge I think Power Rangers Megaforce and Super Megaforce are the worst seasons of Power Rangers they are bad I'm a big fan of Power Rangers Dino Fury that show is awesome and Power Rangers Cosmic Fury is a masterpiece Power Rangers Ninja Steel and Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel have some good stuff and some bad stuff in it it's a okay season overall the crossover was dope though Dimensions in Danger was fire Mick Kanic is one of the best Power Rangers characters of all time I like his backstory with the Lion Galaxy Lion Fire mode was a dope Battlizer the armor looks sick on the Red Ranger the reveal of the three Red Rangers was hype an iconic I think that's my favorite part of the show I was so excited when Mick Kanic becomes a Red Ranger and he got to come back in Power Rangers Cosmic Fury it's not from this era but there is another season that I hate it's from the Disney era Power Rangers Operation overdrive is trash tier only the red Rangers is interesting with his backstory and the twist about his character all the other Ranger characters on the team are boring and I don't like any of their personalities the villains are kind of interesting because of the different factions The adventure globe hopping and treasure hunting aspects are cool but did not save the season the show is bad I hate it it's the only bad season in the Disney era of Power Rangers oh and I have not watched Power Rangers Mystic Force I heard that show was really good

as good as power rangers samurai may or may not be (i havent watched it recently), Samurai Sentai Shinkenger, the super sentai season it was based off of, is superior in almost every way. the ONLY thing i like more in power rangers samurai is the shogun mode cause it looks cool as fuck and doesnt exist in shinkenger. the writing makes more sense, the plot twists are better, the theme song is WAY better, and most of all, it actually MAKES SENSE THAT ITS SAMURAI THEMED SINCE ITS IN JAPAN. plus the gold ranger being a sushi chef instead of a fisherman makes their skills with a blade make more sense.

i enjoy this debate but we both know most of the glaze is becasue of nastolgia eyes. And there is no problem with that we all have nastolgia for a pr show thats not considered great among the rest of the series. For the disney era ik people that still love mystic force like i do and back about 5-6 years ago you couldnt find a toku youtube channel that didnt shit on it same with samurai. Poeple can love the show and think its the best it doesnt make it the best i think the only pr show that can take that is rpm a show that took the sentai footage and went the other direction and made somthing that was considered diffrent for the show and worked. rather than a rehashed plot that couldnt fix the problems that occured in the source footage.

I heard that Deker in Shinkenger. is just a dude who's a serial killer while in Samurai he's cursed and seeks to put an end to it by searching for a worthy opponent that can put him down and free him from his curse. I like the Dayu and Deker story. Can't compare much I've only heard bits of Shinkenger (yea yea i'll check it out sometime...) correct me if I'm wrong.
