Very right, both are great singers with different style and voice quality.
My god, she was outstanding singer. In this age, she still had amazing voice. And how she sang on request, shows what command she had on Indian classical music. She is excellent. No wonder, why she is famous.

the humility and classy style of these people amazes me.. what a personality!! very simple.. yet very confident.. when she started singing, it was so nostalgic.. nobody touches me like the singers of Indo-Pak.. love and respect.. with the passing of these legends, I hope we dont lose ground but build on top of it..

I must say that there is hardly any hindi speaking or Punjabi speaking house that does not a fan of Noor Jahan in India. Such a great singer. Every wedding has dances on her songs in Punjab and Jhalandar, Ludhiyana, etc.

Great Noor Jahan, May her soul rest in peace !!! salute from India. When asked if she would like to visit India to meet her old friends; She was so defensive about her answer. In Pakistan if anybody says good about India he/she is treated like a traitor ( India.. it may be the same too). I hope she had the chance to meet her old friends before she left us..
Tbh it’s not like that in Pakistan. People don’t usually call them traitors.

There is no comparison between Noorjahan and Lata ji. There is a world of difference. Lata ji was in another level. She had the voice, the range, the style, and everything else that was needed to be who she was. No one was or will ever be like Lata ji. Lata ji had the best female voice ever.
