You've done well to highlight some of the key points here, people seem to think it's a walk in the park to own an animal, it's not animals just need your time and attention and they will love you till they day they cross that special little bridge. keep it up. #adopotdontshop
It all depends on what breeds are 'in fashion' so to speak. Right now it's the designer breeds such as Cockerpoos, Cavachons and Yorkiepoos (basically fancy crossbreeds) but then you get breeds such as Staffies in rehoming centres because they're no 'cute and fluffy'. My personal experience working with dogs for over 6 years is Staffies are a more lovely and affectionate breed that don't deserve the bad reputation they get because some bellend with a small penis wants a dog that makes him look hard. Completely agree with you, rehoming centres are full to bursting with dogs, we don't need to keep breeding more! :)
Agree so much - there are no bad dogs and it's just what they get taught. I want an army! We were very lucky with our rescue and I'm sure when we adopt again it'll be more challenging but I also wouldn't ever go to a breeder. Every dog deserves a loving home and it's such a shame that sometimes they are more of an accessory than a best friend. I need one of those tshirts but just with crazy dog lady, I think...
