But I think it'll be great if they stick with rotation because there are still many talented SM girls that need to showcase more of their talents. But i think its more like more combination n units will be introduce near future n this first unit will still carry on when they got avail slot outside their main promotion.. n along w other combination or unitss. More like this than just a one time thingy. But yea might also be like how most think.. from theme to theme ,certain changes will made, new combination. But idk for that they dont need to talk about more unitsss right. I love Step back so much. Like, the instrumental, the women they gathered for this! I never though I would be biaswrecked by Taeyeon because I have like nearly 3 official biases in this unit (Hyo, Seulgi and Winter) but really Taeyeon was amazing! Also, BoA is definitely my bias for this unit! I love her so much, her voice, how she dances! And Wendy was incredible too, and yes, she did performed Like water too... it was really like 2 different persons lol As for Hope from Kwangya. Hope is an old song from H.O.T written by Kangta (who appears just after Max Changmin's solo). This song is sung at the end of every SMTown concert for years but for this version, they added back the rap parts Jeno and Mark got (I am so thankful they were given this opportunity!) because before, they removed it for the Smtown version of the song (in the H.O.T version, those parts were there). I read somewhere that GOT will release another song on the 3rd of Jan (which is today as I'm writing this 😅). I'm a Taeyeon stan and I am so happy to hear her sing that high again 'cause I miss her doing high notes. I selfishly want to hear more from her when she will have her comeback (hopefully and soon 😁). Also, Wendy is on a different level with this performance. It's like she waited for this for so long and gave all in cause that might not happen again (to perform with the top idols). I'm proud of RV and Aespa actually, they nailed the performance with the legends of kpop. Lastly, I don't know why but I like Taeyeon and Seulgi's chemistry on screen. 😊

For someone who doesn't like noise sounds and follow girl groups, Girls on Top for me is exceptional. Maybe, the only gg I will follow. The lyrics are part of the music, and music is art which means it can be interpreted in many ways. When I watched the concert, I didn't even read the lyrics because the performance speaks for itself. For people who don't enjoy it, they can just click off because there is so much other contents out there. That means they are not the target market. (sorry not sorry) Also, the first part of the live stage actually showed hooded guys just like EXO's Mama intro. So, EXO-Ls were whizzing abt EXO's cameo hahaha. But it does make sense too since Yoo Young Jin wrote both songs. SM is also known for giving performance songs for debut to create noise. Lyrics is honestly a quick fix when you have powerful performers.

I love Step back so much. Like, the instrumental, the women they gathered for this! I never though I would be biaswrecked by Taeyeon because I have like nearly 3 official biases in this unit (Hyo, Seulgi and Winter) but really Taeyeon was amazing! Also, BoA is definitely my bias for this unit! I love her so much, her voice, how she dances! And Wendy was incredible too, and yes, she did performed Like water too... it was really like 2 different persons lol
As for Hope from Kwangya. Hope is an old song from H.O.T written by Kangta (who appears just after Max Changmin's solo). This song is sung at the end of every SMTown concert for years but for this version, they added back the rap parts Jeno and Mark got (I am so thankful they were given this opportunity!) because before, they removed it for the Smtown version of the song (in the H.O.T version, those parts were there).

I read somewhere that GOT will release another song on the 3rd of Jan (which is today as I'm writing this 😅).
I'm a Taeyeon stan and I am so happy to hear her sing that high again 'cause I miss her doing high notes. I selfishly want to hear more from her when she will have her comeback (hopefully and soon 😁).
Also, Wendy is on a different level with this performance. It's like she waited for this for so long and gave all in cause that might not happen again (to perform with the top idols). I'm proud of RV and Aespa actually, they nailed the performance with the legends of kpop.
Lastly, I don't know why but I like Taeyeon and Seulgi's chemistry on screen. 😊

She was my 1st kpop experience too when I saw her Energetic MV on MTV randomly in 2008.
I'm gonna be honest, I don't have a problem with the lyrics idk. I mean if another girl is going to try to do smtg with MY man, I WILL step up and say something instead of just sitting back and "not tear another woman down" lmao. It is, in a way, women empowerment as well. Unless the lyrics are implying that they are hating on other females for no reason, then I can see why that's an issue. Just my opinion.

“Girls on Top” is a rotating girl group. Any SM Female member can be apart of the group to make certain unit. It’s not like SuperM, where they made a group because the fellas was doing their duty time.

I was also freaking out. 4 generations of kpop its crazy. They all look like a dynasty of fuck-u-up performers. First of all So Sorry I am very late I just watched this Video, second of all OH MY GOODNESS YES!! This whole Performance was ICONIC Just everything about it and same I don't really know Taeyeon, Hyoyeon, or BoA as much all I know is that they are very Iconic and they are Legends with Vocals, Rap, Dance, and so on but after watching this I will definitely check them out more! All I got to say is that Winter and Karina KILLED IT they are legit Monster Rookies like holy cow, and Wendy and Seulgi were just WOW Seulgi can step on me her whole outfit her dance and her Vocals oh my God, and Wendy was just WOW her lines were just Iconic this is why she is my favorite Vocalist in K - Pop because she did not sound like herself really at all and her Rap and outfit was just again WOW! These girls are just again PHENOMENAL I am so sad I didn't see this sooner they killed the entire thing I am DEFINITELY going to check out more Taeyeon, BoA, and Hyoyeon though I know that for sure! The song is amazing, the dance was top-notch, and the vocals were unmatched. Personally Wendy, Taeyeon, Hyo, and BoA killed this, especially Wendy and Taeyeon gosh. This is like the first time I've seen and heard Wendy do this kind of concept and killer vocals and it's been years since we've seen Taeyeon go hard like this. I absolutely love it.
About the "controversial" lyrics, honestly it's just stan twt blowing it out of proportion way too much. The main issue was one of the producers who has a history of misogynistic behaviour and has actually been on a controversy in the past. Other than that, sure the lyrics were disappointing but they weren't that bad. A lot of people were not happy with the lyrics, including me, but hating the girls is crossing the line. And a lot of k-pop songs have this type of lyrics so...

For someone who doesn't like noise sounds and follow girl groups, Girls on Top for me is exceptional. Maybe, the only gg I will follow. The lyrics are part of the music, and music is art which means it can be interpreted in many ways. When I watched the concert, I didn't even read the lyrics because the performance speaks for itself. For people who don't enjoy it, they can just click off because there is so much other contents out there. That means they are not the target market. (sorry not sorry)
Also, the first part of the live stage actually showed hooded guys just like EXO's Mama intro. So, EXO-Ls were whizzing abt EXO's cameo hahaha. But it does make sense too since Yoo Young Jin wrote both songs. SM is also known for giving performance songs for debut to create noise. Lyrics is honestly a quick fix when you have powerful performers.
