- Do we have to take into our consideration the resistance value factor only for a Resistor while designing our electrical circuits?
Can Rated Power factor for our Resistor be a crucial factor?
In this video Electrical Engineering Planet will cover everything about rated power for Resistors.
Also EEP will show you a practical video about the consequences of not well choosing the rated power value for Resistors

Very Useful community really helpful to Electrical Engineers
Thank you 😊
Useful demo tutorial. I was taught with sparrow and crow analog 50 years back. Both can fly at the same speed, but the crow is capable of carrying more weight with its beak compared to the sparrow.
Just getting into electrical engineering because I have a lot of things I want to make and need to learn to make them. That said, I've watched a LOT of videos in the past few months - this is the first I've seen cover this so clearly. Thank you very much. Subscribed!
Glad to hear that 😊🙏 thank you for your support
Many thanks for this great information.
Thank you 😊
valuable information thank you
Thank you for your support 🙏❤️
Really helpful info, Thank you
You're welcome Jessica
thanks alot 👌
you're welcome ❤
Good work 👏👏👏👏
Thank you 😊
Thank you very much .
Is it ok when i use 1w resistor when it written 1/2 at diagram??
You're welcome 😊 yes you can use higher rated power
Can I use 5 watt resistance in the place of 3 watt ?
Thank you for your question, yes you can
*The cost difference really adds up if you are ordering quantities of 50 to 100 or most obviously, 1000 each in a wide variety of values. I also greatly dislike working with 1/8 and 1 watt resistors. In a lot of D.C. circuits, 1/8 watt are perfectly fine, but if you are using perfboard, I personally find them unpleasant to work with.*
Installing 1/8 watt on a PCB wouldn't be a significant hassle, but I would personally still dislike using them.
Thank you for your fruitful discussion ❤️🙏
