Hi Guys! Thanks for watching my Chris Redfield gameplay, I hope you enjoy it! If you like my content I hope you like and comment on my videos and subscribe to my channel, thank you for your support!
This part was so bad ass. Idk why so many people hated on it so much. It honestly brought back some good classic resident evil vibes. Resident evil was always set to start as a survival horror which turns into action at the end game. Legit play any resident evil game and you'll see these sections in every end game. Resident evil 7 was really the first that just kept it all survival horror for the most part.
And even 7 got actiony towards the end with the Mia ship flashback. I swear most people whining about "survival horror1!!1!" have never actually played this fucking series lmao
That's exactly what those "fans" of Resident evil never understood! if you watn a survival from start to finish, go play Silent hill, Alien isolation or whatever
Capcom really want him to be their One Punch Man, lmao. Heck, look at how he plays in the Normal mode of Mercenaries. With Ethan, you still have some trouble and have to rely on careful planning. With Chris, all you need to do is upgrade your straight punch and everything becomes a joke (again, on Normal mode... it's still difficult on Hard).
I like the drastic difference between playing as Ethan, a civilian, and playing as Chris, a military operator. When playing as Ethan, the game is harder and plays like a survival horror because he's a civilian with standard weapons. When playing as Chris, you're simply mowing through your enemies with military grade gear, and the game becomes an action shooter. It also helps establish exactly why RE5 and RE6 were so heavy on the action. Because for the protagonists of those games, it was a piece of cake.
Chris has always been my favorite RE character since I played the first game when I was six. I am always excited to see him whenever and wherever he pops up. I want Capcom to do the dual campaigns again with a new character and a legacy character like Dishonored 2 did.
I’m playing re1 again for the first time in ages trying to get the achievements. Playing through it now brings back so many good memories. The renders look beautiful even today.
Dual campaign died with RE6. Game design was chaotic and frustrating. Putting one player in a bad situation and the other in no danger making players conflict with each other.
@@stellocut99 But it was reimagined in RE2make, and it wouldn't be too out of the realm of possibility for a new game. But yes RE6 was a mess for trying to be too many things at once, if they do it like the older games it wouldn't be too bad.

@@FEAR_Operative I feel like that comparison is unwarranted honestly. All they had in common is they were at night and in FPS, the pace of those sections is completely different. This is Resident Evil, every one of the games have always accumulated in action-adventure. Rather on Spencer’s helipad, or a railgun to Nemesis’ face. This atmosphere is capturing exactly what Raccoon City was in its end, just on a smaller scale. You still have Ethan a civilian lost in the middle, Chris a rogue soldier and his unit, Miranda a scheming scientist turned omnipotent cultist, and the BSAA testing bioweapons. Chris and Wolf Hound Squad finally tracking down Umbrella’s predecessors, while Umbrella Corporation’s successors, the Connections are enacting Umbrella’s agenda is the best payoff for this franchise since RE5.
