I’ve been following you for a while and love what you do but I have a question I want to do a conversion on a 2001 f350 but I want to put a road armor bumper on and was wanting to know if it will be possible
Great idea, project and video on nose swap. I’m definitely going to do this, but before I buy the front cap, What about doors for my extended cab 2001 as well as 8ft bed. Are they direct interchangeable to later model that would match the nose update? Or will they also require fabricated modified parts and if so what do you have?
Will you be able to attach a ranch hand bumper/grill guard replacement with this conversion? I don’t see where the tow hooks are on the video, or if this conversion takes them away?
This video leaves a lot out. You will definitely need to cut a lot more metal out for the headlights to fit. Hood hinges will need to be slotted much more than shown. Upper fender mounts inside door jamb not addressed. Top fender supports where they attach to the core support had to be cut off for fenders and headlights to fit. Grill support will need to be moved around until gaps are correct. Be prepared to take parts on and off several times to get gaps as close as possible and by doing so expect the inserts to spin rendering them useless. I was a mechanic for 20 yrs and a paint and body man for several years. I have built many cars and trucks. I thought this kit would save me a lot of time but after 4 days of installing this kit and modifying the kit, I finally got a decent finished product. Not perfect by any means but acceptable for now.
I’m in need of assistance I have a 05 f-350 dually the cab is kinda rusty tor my liking however I have a complete cab with front clip completely assembled that I would like to sit on my 05 frame , who has done that kind of conversion & what all would I need to make it work as far as my harness & ac lines due to my 05 blower motor assembly being on the outside & on the inside on the 08 cab also the computer is mounted to the inner fender on the 05 & in the firewall on the 08 same as air filter is in the opposite side please inform me as to what to do to make the 08 complete cab & front fully functional on my 06 frame thanks

Can you do the same video for the 2008 conversion? That style will be what I buy from you. Its more rugged looking on my dually. The 2011 dually looks wimpy. The 2008 has the appearance of a wayyyyy larger grill next to the headlights and is WICKED SICK

*I have an Excursion that I'm ready to do this to, I'd like to use the fender that you're using on the truck not the Excursion (F550 fender) because my wheels are very wide and I want to be able to get as much coverage with the flare as possible. My question is how can I get a matching flare for the rear? It's gonna be very noticeable if I leave the rear fender flares unaddressed. Please tell me there's an option for the rear flares, I can't find anything.*

I'm sure it's different in all states but do you have to tell the town or something like that to convert the trucks look since it won't look anything like it did
no. The only thing that matters is the vin number on the body. the body vin number indicates identification of a vehicle. everything else is considered a modification. my avatar is a 1959 f100 truck body mounted to a 2015 race car. they call that a restomod specifically. this is a simple body mod.

all doors from99-16 bolt on and look the same. newer beds also just bolt on no mods needed

It might be because he had to drawl a line across the bumper mounts. He had a good idear in all the working of the mounts.
