Bucky's 100 percent spot on about the Russ-Fields QB battle. I've been saying that since the day Fields took over with the 1's. The floor has been set. The only way for Russ to regain pole position from here is to elevate the offense to a level that makes everybody forget about what they've seen from Fields. He does that and the Steelers are in great position, because that scenario not only benefits the team, but Fields as well!
Russ will get hurt or miss good throws then fields will step in

Dak is exactly like his predecessor Tony Romo. Very good QB that will keep you in playoff contention every year, but will routinely choke in the playoffs

Dak is the least of the problems. Head coaching, the GM, O line, discipline, running back, and the ability to stop the run are more reasons that they lose vs. Dak's quarterback play.

@@chrisbogan402they won’t be the worst. I kind of wish they would be, because then they’d be able to trade back a hair and build draft capital and what not, but the defense is just too stout. They’ll pull off a few upsets, beat down on a few bad/injured teams. Maybe 5-6 wins. You’ll see them in the playoffs making a push in 2026, in Drake’s 3rd year, is my guess.

@@323johnnybravo With Mahomes no one really knew who he was other than the KC scouting department. They moved up to get him and then he sat for a year behind a playoff team.
Buffalo also moved up to get Allen who was a top draft grade and NFL ready QB and Burrow had one of the best seasons at LSU in college football.
These guys are outliers and not the rule. Also, other than Mahomes none of those guys have won a Super Bowl. These QBs also have signed for massive deals.
@@travisoshea that’s my point , kc and the bills both had middling QBs like Dak. They took the chance to get an elite one. You either have a super cheap Qb with promise or an elite Qb This middle of the pack QB thing never works.
Justin is 10-28 because he’s a disaster in Close 4th Quarter games. Russ is there for a playoff run. Justin will get snaps every game, but Russ is the guy.
Miami and other warm-weather teams all need to have a separate practice dome that is just a huge freezer field with the ability to adjust the cold to the areas in which teams are playing in bad weather!

Miami had a home game in late December against the Bills and they choked. All they had to do was win that game and they would've had a home playoff game in the Wildcard.

Asye to Maye, Wolf knows he is dealing with a much different animal in Boston The Boston media is the toughest in the country - instrumental in getting Belichick fired. Boston media is taking a hissy fit because of the limited snaps Maye had against the Panthers. Wolf & Mayo should give Maye the bulk of the snaps in the joint practice against the eagles and the start against the Eagles in the pre season game. Wolf & Mayo took Milton at 8 for a reason because there were concerns about Maye that went beyond his youth and lack of experience. it is the best thing for the organization.
