Still look good, sound good and go well even to this day, legend is the best word to describe it, i have owned 3, and wouldn,t hesitate to have another some day.

Lovely bike. I had a rough A2 briefly in the 80s which had been raced... always wanted the original A1. Just bought an A1 in November which is possibly the oldest surviving A1 in the UK????.. April 1984. It's been looked after and is bog standard apart from braided lines. Can't wait to ride it.

Nicely ridden and filmed michele. Some great roads too. I have exactly the same bike so that cockpit view is very familiar to me. Best wishes from the uk.
    Ride safe my friend

Nice. I have a 1984 ZX900-A1 as well. What is the switch on the left inside cover? Fan override?

Need help. I'm going to buy used carbs but what's the difference in a 650 and a zx 900 carbs. I have the 84 ninja gpz 900 but it won't run correctly. Cleaned them up but runs away on me. Boggs down on throttle and or only works on choke. Help plz. Vids or something

check the state of the diaphragms. your symptoms are classic split or perrished ones. The 650 will undoubtedly have smaller bore carbs. clean out the float bowls and main jets as well. check/replace any fuel filter. have fun remounting the carbs - it once took me five hours to get mine on the rubbers of my 900r. patience and cups of tea help. by the way also check the cylinder head mounting rubbers for signs of cracking. be methodical when diagnosing carb problems. the haynes manual on motorcycle carbs could be very helful to beginners in the dark art of carburation
