Amongst the bells and ringers: Cornhill

A few snippets of a quarter peal of Plain Bob Caters rung at Cornhill, rung for a very smartly dressed garden party. After coming down, we highly thanked for our ringing which made it very worthwhile.
Bob Caters may not be the most musical method at times, however, the band gave it their best shot on the bells, rang for a worthwhile occasion and there were some rather respectable areas.
Going to the belfry restored the novelty for me of going to ring at a fine, heavier London ring of bells; walking into the belfry, they are up against you, above you, clean and dominating, the tenor of course standing out virtually in full view. Restored and rehung in 2011, only 13 years old. I'm not sure of the contraption on the tenor but presumably something to soften the strike and make it hum a bit more.
I'm pretty sure there will be a few who make the comparison between this 12 and two very similar rings of 10 in the same key on this channel.
