I used to work as a cashier and there was a gentleman who would bring a stack of $2 bills he’d collected over the years and hand them out to any children in line and would pay for his groceries with them. I remember asking him once if he was sure and he said he had no reason to keep them and it made people happy to see something unexpected like that.
i dont get it tho, why paying only in 2$ ? its still money so if he paid with regular money it would have worked too no ? dont get me wrong its still nice but i dont get why paying only with 2$ bills... just pay with regular money would have the same effect and kids dont really care if it was two 1$ or one 2$....

As a 35+ yr retired elementary teacher, I strongly recommend you find more of his work for Juno! He writes about different issues important and universal to kids in a fun understanding way!

I had two for Christmas and one for Thanksgiving and one for something else (might not have been for a holiday but just generically winter) and now I can't find them. They were the coolest socks I have ever owned! I'm gonna see if I can find a few to send to you guys now!
