I bought one and had my first session with it yesterday. What a great little pod. It looks amazing and it stands very sturdy. Thanks for the review, made me buy it and no regrets!!!
I’ve had the P1 worldwide pod for couple of years. Really the best pod out there. But recently i went for 6 ft rods, minimal gear, lightway fishing and this pod just hit the spot. It was on the market just couple of days and one company put it on Black Friday sale. Pulled the trigger and never looked back. It is 30% smaller pod than the P1. Not really suitable for 12 ft rods. 6-10 ft ideal. I love both of my solar pods. This blacklite is a jewel for sure.
My £45 NGT Cross Pod Deluxe (Mine cost me £25 off eBay auction) has lasted over 4 years and is still going strong. It has taken a lot of abuse, being used at least three times a week. I don't think the £450 extra is justified.
the way in which the buzzer bars are secured with a bolt around the round aluminum is very poor, they should have made a flat spot on the buzzer bar or something like that for strong retention, they can move! the long blacklite banksticks have too short a thread and do not fit completely. otherwise nice rod pod.
It might be Expensive but the quality is way above most other Pods - it’s not mass produced in China , it’s handmade in England. A lot of different Manufacturing / Engineering processes go into making it and it should last your Lifetime - buy a £50.00 Rod Pod and you will be throwing it away after a few years.
Doing the math, if you throw it away every four-five years that's 40 years worth of pod investment. I'll be damned if either I or my pod will last that long without getting nicked, broken or dead.
when using those backrestst, that grip the rod in a decent mannor, the carbon pod was absolute shit cause when picking up the rod you would take the whole pod with you.... So if this pod is just as light....😂
A heavy pod is far better for stability never had my solar worldwide go over on me and it will outlast me I won't ever be changing had it since it first came out, there isn't anything else on the market that ticks all the boxes
I've had a solar pod for 20 yrs absolutely no problems it will last forever ,,😊
You can’t beat solar for quality and design, I have this pod, it’s amazing

Are these OK for 12ft rods as got summit pod and to small for 12ft rods
Just bought one, yet to try it out on the bank. Seems sturdy. Will see how it fairs to my Rod Thompson pod which cost me £50
Just had this pod delivered. My reels hit the centre adjustable bar as the biz bars aren’t height adjustable. Will sadly have to send it back

What alarms are those?
Looks great but I have the old one and I won't change it for anything 😅. It's just way too good! Unbreakable!
I don’t know why solar discontinued the worldwide carbon pod i used to have one biggest mistake I did was selling it 😢
The old one is still the best
Aint that the truth m8, I love mine & I ain't changing it for shit

@@shaunoakman5609me too!
Someone needs to get that line out of the tree.
No chance I'm paying £450 for a pod .
Anyone know if Luke ended up marrying this rod pod 😏
😂😂.
450£ for a pod, oh man 🙈🙄
You know for a minute there I thought you'd put £450 🤔

@@Krone64 it is day light robbery
It's a couple of metal tubes.
And I thought the Black Label QR 3 was unreasonably expensive.
That's a hard sell mate.
Does it also make you a bankside cappuccino?
Or you could use a few bank sticks....for maximum flexibility

They are like that for a reason. If they had a flat spot, they could only every be angled in one position
Its good, but i prefer masive rod pods thats why i have fox ranger mkII
I mean it’s nice, but I think everyone knows the jag rp1 is the most beautiful pod ever made.
How can the average angler afford that Jesus christ 😂😂
What are these rods!
They’re Prologic Inspire!

Please sell things in the U.S.

How much!!! Your having a laugh, 6 cheap bank sticks less than £20, you can’t go wrong, and you certainly don’t get what you pay for here
