I’m not really in to the big truck stuff, but Greg and his channel make it fun to watch! You can tell how he presents to a broad audience, he’s professional and respectful, which some of these other diesel channels out there don’t have that.
Crazy to think back in the day dirty diesels were in the tiny shop you use to go to, cool to see how much they’ve grown 👍🏻
Greg your friends new addition to his shop is really nice, but one thing he is going to wish he had installed was a Gantry crane for the shop on that side especially dealing with big trucks, you can lift cabs off and whole trucks up.
I think the black pete is going to look even better with the new frame rails and being that stretched out

While on the rabbit hole theme you might as well throw a wider steer axle on it to steer better. I know it’s a world of difference from my old 379 with factory steer to my 389 with upgraded axle. Just food for thought. Happy building.
A😮 big advantage to having a long wheelbase is being able to see the right side of a trailer during blindsided backing.

Ok @17:50 I’m digging the kenworth, and I’m not a kenworth fan. Unless it’s the snowman’s truck 😂😂😂 A Flattop Pete 379 EXHD is still the ultimate goal for the shop. But a crewcab kenworth would be a good starter truck 😂😂😂😂

Have you considered doubling up each frame rail for added strength with that length? The moment created at the centerline is going to be alot.

You can also get heavier duty single rails than the factory uses, which is lighter weight than a double frame and nearly as strong.

I don't think we're gonna see one until after UCC is over. I think he's got another truck stashed, 3 or 4th gen if I remember right. But with show schedule, racing and UCC we probably won't see one until after.
