Heard this song first time yesterday, immidiatly added all 3 of their albums on spotify. I'm so weak for these combinations of orchestration, beautiful melody and bone breaking brutality. To me they are a cross between Dimmu and Epica, and I am all for that.

This album was on my sort list for album of the year for 2021. It was absolutely outstanding on all levels.

She is so good the choruses are just fire her growls actually have so much rhythm it's crazy she actually beats Dimmu Borgir on her rythm man. Would love to see them at Wakken with a full orchestra and having orchestra members rocking out.

Magnificent ! They describe their songs as "Melancholic tales and tenebrous grandeur..." I couldn't agree more. Definitely buying the album. What a great return to YT for you Hedgy.

Good lord that was incredible, straight onto playlist for me. Obviously her vocals are amazing but the music behind was perfect as well, not often the bass is so prominent

This guys are really stepping up their game. I've spent the last few months listening to them a lot, in a short playlist along with other bands that coincidentally I discovered through your channel, so I'm happy to see you back and you couldn't have picked up a best first song for the return. Cheers!

Hedgy, you mirrored my initial reaction to this track/video exactly. I was overwhelmed by this masterpiece from the first moment I witnessed it and it's still one of my favourite discoveries of pandemic times. And yes, I have to admit that Adrienne is somewhat crush inducing with her vocals and presence. I like the term 'brutiful' in this context lately.

Great singer Adrienne. Quite like Seven spires. Like the Agonist One of the few more modern bands this 45 year old metal grumpster likes. They worked with Avantasia guitar player and Uber producer Sascha Paeth (Edguy, Avantasia, kamelot, Epica, Tribe…) on some of their stuff and Sascha ended up asking her to sing in his own band - Sascha Paeth’s Masters of Ceremony (well worth a listen) and she was also asked to do backing vocals for Avantasia on tour as well. 🤘

Don't know how interested you would be in it, but I highly recommend checking out Zeal & Ardor. What the sound they're going for is is fascinating. They recently released a new album this year, titled Zeal & Ardor, which has some fantastic tracks on it.

Could you check out Norsk Black Metal by Red Warszawa? It's the band that got me into metal in the 6th grade and would love to hear an outsiders perspective.
Keep on doing your stuff, cheers!

Literally goosebumps with the intro. Rest of the song also very well structured. The lady almost has got the same scream/grunt as Alissa White-Gluz from Arch Enemy. Is she also vegan, perhaps? And does that have effect on your voice? Questions, questions. Good you're back for real no. Cheers 🍺🤘

Yeah it's almost black metal but not it's great better then any black metal band trying to create a lore based albums like honestly it's like the thing of the genre is to play with religious and spritual figures and gods. It's crazy I have heard multiple people say that her albums remind them of early Cradle of Filth whe they started they had good lore then it went off the track and it's nice to have new band that can compete with Dimmu Borgir and gettign compared to them for many gothic lore people is like yeah wow the hardcores love you know that era of lore and revival of ancient bard tales stuff.
