Very good point for modern stuff for sure. The modern landscape is really frustrating for all the reasons you mentioned. What's your viewpoint on retro stuff. Do you like getting the old carts and stuff or prefer emulation? We like collecting retro for sure but still emulate sometime for ease of use. Fun topic to discuss for sure. Thanks for watching and leaving a very thoughtful and engaging comment. Cheers!

First off, let me say that the title you attached to this video is controversial enough that it actually pulled me in. I have never seen your videos before so my first thought was that you guys were a couple of hacks trying to downplay retro gaming in favor of emulation. The more apt question to pose would be "Is emulation pointless?" but how many people would that draw in to watch your video and would they watch all the way through?
I believe that emulation is pointless. As you pointed out, you never get the true experience. Another thing you have to ask yourself is this: Which TH-cam video are you more likely to watch......someone showing you shelves and shelves of games or a person scrolling through their list of digital games on the XBOX One or PS4? The latter to me would be a bit anticlimactic. The joy of the hunt is completely gone and the experience of acquiring games is boiled down to the bare minimum. Like you guys, I love to get out there and find a deal. It's a great feeling when you find that game you have been seeking for ages and at a price you can afford. How is a download going to match that? Is the act of acquiring emulations even collecting at all?

Yes some hobbies can benefit people's lives in more positive ways than others but the gist is this. Enjoy what you like to do, we all have hobbies some of us have multiple hobbies. We live and we die that's the only guarantees in life so while we live do the things you love as long as they are legal and healthy.

Growing up in the 90s, I found all the artworks from game cartridges, boxes and manuals very beautiful. For me, the physical shape, the cart, the label, they are all part of what the game is about. When I go to used games stores, I watch the games and for me, it's like if I'm entering a museum or something. I don't have let's say, Chrono Trigger in box for Snes, or Super Metroid, but when I see them somewhere, there's something very impressive about it. It's like going back in time, exactly like seeing a famous painting in a museum somewhere, like I said. It's part of history.

Yeah, idk how some ppl own like 10 video game consoles and collect for them. It’s cool but it’s overkill for me. I’m not gonna spend the bankroll to have 1,000+ games. I have a tiny bit of N64 games but probably gonna sell them. I collect physical games for the Switch and PS4. I also have SNES and Sega mini consoles. The mini consoles are enough for me. A lot cheaper than buying a SNES collection. If someone has a massive collection I think it’s badass but It’s too many games for me to play and I don’t want my house looking like a Blockbuster video store 😂

What a great subject to talk about! I remember a day where I was out at dinner with the family for somebody's birthday and my uncle was talking about getting a VR set for the families PS4. I chimed in and said that was a good idea. Long story short, the conversation eventually shifted to asking me about the VR set and how I knew so much about it. I told them I was a video game enthusiast and that even though I didn't have a PS4 I liked learning about all kinds of game history and I had 13 other consoles hooked up ready to play. They looked at me kind of funny and asked why I wouldn't just trade in my older consoles to get the newer ones. I'll never forget that question and how it made me feel. I couldn't be angry because I knew they felt differently about games, but it also made me ask myself why I had all those consoles and games. It only took me a minute to answer that question though: because it's a unique experience not only for myself but also for the people I get to share it with. I still own the N64 I grew up with, I own an Xbox that my dad had installed in his old Escalade that he ended up giving to me later on, I played a ton of PS2 and Gamecube at my friends house, and much more. These are all experiences that I get to share with my friends, family and future children just for having all these games and consoles. I know I'm late to the party but thanks for sharing this video with us! Hope you're all doing well and staying safe!

Great perspective. The memories and nostalgia is priceless. And playing retro stuff is a different experience all together. Not saying modern stuff is bad it's just different. My guess is you feel like a badass when you beat a game on N64 or SNES etc. Why? Because those game were tough back them. Many modern games (not all) are more of a cinematic presentation. Entertaining but also not quite as fulfilling to beat. Saying you can be Contra or Mike Tyson's Punch Out is different than saying you beat the RE3 remake. Anywho, I'll quit rambling lol. Thanks a ton for watching. Cheers to keeping it retro!

You guys truly bring up a fantastic angle on this. How you consume media is a really big deal that no one really hammered on. I loved your analogy on how you enjoyed your favorite game and how a part of that had to do it actually using the physical media.
It is for sure a case by case basis. Like in my video I was questioning if it’s worth dragging all these games I never play across the country just to have them with me, when I have the ability to play them already multiple different ways and not enough room to house them in my current location... whereas if I lived down the road from my childhood home and had more space I wouldn’t even question it, I’d just take them along. Punch Out is the ultimate test for lag! So true.
You guys did an awesome job on this video and really appreciate how you handled it! So many great points! Cheers fellas 🥂

Actually, before the price bubble for the retrocollecting , reaching a full set for a particular console was easy and cheap. You used to find them in bulks, it was easy to reach a very big number of games. And if you snag the 80% of all games with little money, you might as well reach 100%. It's like collecting anything: you do because it is what collecting is.
Now, with the prices going crazy , it's hard, too expensive and kinda pointless. Stick to your favorites, stick to the ones you still play and sell the rest. If you want complete collections nowadays you better go "digital". More free space in the house.

Hoarding is pointless, and that is precisely what 70% of collectors do is hoard. I own around 260 physical games and cherish 90% of them because I played the crap of them all and want to play them all again. Everyone with over 400-500 games MAX in their collection is just silly honestly.

Yes great attitude. 👍 only collect games you will play to death over and over, pass on the ones you don't to someone else. I think most people would probably play if you have time, probably about 80-100 games but it depends on the individual and what they like to play. Like you have 260 games but you really cherish them so you get a tremendous amount of value out of them. I have 40 sega genesis games and play them all so will always hang onto them. Same with things like movies. If the day comes where I don't get enjoyment from them, it's time for a new home.

    • @SameDifferences

I agree to a point. What if the people that own 400-500 games (i'm not one of those people btw) play the crap out of those games and want to play them again? Collecting is a very subjective thing and just because it may not make sense to you doesn't mean anything. It's cool if you play a game and sell the ones you don't play. It's also cool if you collect the games and don't play them, that's the choice of the collector.
Me, personally, would never want to own hundreds and hundreds of games but that's my choice. Some folks my enjoy having a library of video games instead of books because it looks cool as hell or whatever the reason may be. Some folks may look at you and your collection of 260+ games and think you're hoarding. It doesn't matter. Collect what you want.

    Hell no!
I got back into gaming after almost a 20 year hiatus, partially thanks to finding AVGN and buying a Genesis cartridge of Crazybus as a joke gift, and partially from finding my childhood copies of Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt, Super Mario Bros 3 and Sonic 2.
Had those been digital downloads back in the day, they would no longer exist, and I probably wouldn't have been inspired to get back into gaming.
My daughter and nieces fell in love with games like Bubble Bobble and Bible Adventures for the NES, Super Mario World, the Genesis/MD Sonic games. Playing the original cartridges with the original controllers (I'll admit, on a Retro-Bit Trio, though they have used an original Sega Genesis Model 1/2 before) was awesome because they're experiencing it just like we did back when it was new.
When I first showed my daughter a Game Genie in action, the look of wonder in her 8 year old face took me back to when I was her age. Just that moment was worth every penny I've spent on collecting retro games... and I try to spend as little as possible, even though I buy too much sometimes. I have never paid more for a used game than what new games cost nowadays, in fact, even half of what many games go for now is too high for me, unless it's something that means a lot to me personally.
My son is 16 and plays a lot of Xbox One, I got him to play the original Doom on SNES just for shots and giggles. I admitted that the graphics looked like trash, especially compared to the free PC version I played as a teenager, but he had so much fun, he went and got the Xbox One version of Doom 1, 2, 3 and Doom 2016.
He works full time, as do I, so I don't get to spend much time with him, but a horribly dated 26 year old game that I bought for like $16 brought us closer... and what's more wholesome than killing demons with your dad?

I think the key thing to remember with collecting of any sort, is to ironically forget the value and that you are collecting! I love playing games that I grew up with, but people that barf up 200$ for a game they might not even try just because it is “rare” is pointless. Everything on this planet is borrowed, and if you spend your whole life worrying about cleaning, maintaining, and keeping your value up you will never enjoy anything. Great topic, guys! I gotta say, I'm always a fan on physical media. Be it games, movies, or music. I will say, it's definitely easier to consume these things digitally, but I find it's more rewarding in the long run to own them physically. If you go the digital route, a lot of the time you have to pay a subscription fee. With physical, one payment and you own it forever. Plus, there's always the risk of a digital game not always being available, like in the case of the Ducktales remake which was recently announced to be removed from the online store.

If you collect for investment only... then be prepared to kiss your money goodbye IF you save everything you ever bought in your life... you're a hoarder. There's also no point in collecting to preserve history... others have done it all already much better than you can. A collection has to be focussed on a small area that you will want to return to often. In general since the 1950s every commercially made item has been saved. I've been collecting things since I was little and at 54... I'm not stopping... but it is pointless. (PS- I have done large purges now and then... so Im not living in a large hoard.)

The point about Netflix is spot on. You stare at the menu, start something and stop after 5 minutes, it could be the greatest movie ever made. It’s probably why I don’t have a really strong connection to any movie made in the past 10 years. They’re not movies any more, they’re content. Jurassic park was a good reference, I remember waiting patiently for quite a long time for that vhs to be released, then I watched it over and over until it started to wear out. On the other hand of the argument, when I bought my movies and games individually, I would very rarely give a chance to anything I didn’t know that I absolutely wanted, I was paying money for it after all. Now it’s risk free to try something different, whether it’s Netflix or emulation. That’s opened me up to a massive range of games I can’t believe I missed out on. It’s an interesting topic, great video

    1. nostalgia glasses. some of my favorite songs I've never owned the album for and have listened to them for MANY years. It's just the earliest way you (we) remember consuming the media. VHS, disc, Cartridge, etc...and it's a way to _almost_ relive your childhood.
    2. Hobbies are good, obsessions are strange. I love the idea of collecting games because the rat in my brain likes to remind me how I loved playing my TMNT NES cart. it's a strange phenomenon not exclusive to game collections. People collect all sorts of pointless junk; figurines, beenie babies, etc...heck, gacha games are built on the small endorphins push you get from gaining new characters. People spend small fortunes collecting digital "waifus" in a game that will eventually disappear. It's the thrill of finding/owning something even if you really don't need it.
    3. publishers take full advantage of nerd culture with collectibles. creating an obsession is just a way to manipulate a group of people.
    4. Belonging to a social group. People like to belong and some people like to connect to others simply by owning a collection. "look at how much I own, we have SO much in common!" If you walked into my house you wouldn't even think of me as a gamer because I don't have such things on display. Collections are an instant way to connect with others.
    5. eventual decline into hoarding. there's a fine line, most people keep their "collections" tidy but there are plenty that it's just an unnerving hoard of everything. they always call themselves collectors too.

I've always been very passionate about gaming, art, & film so from a very young age, only being given 2 games per year, I dug deep into the soul of the game or movie I was given, repeatedly playing or watching them. Over the past 30 years this eventually turned into a collection. I have deep memories for each game or movie I was given and purchases I made. I struggle with modern games and movies because there are too many to choose from at your convenience w/ streaming services and game pass. This mixed w/ lack of time and family, I end up going back to my collection and replaying or rewatching what I remember enjoying the most, guaranteed fulfillment. That is a problem and a blessing in itself. Each individual collects for their own purpose, but if you're not happily locked into the soul of the hobby to feed your happiness, it's time to consider moving onto something else.

Guys, I really frikkin enjoyed and can relate to this. To me, as a car guy, it’s like the question of do you want a real Shelby cobra Daytona coupe or a kit car or as a brewer it’s like do you want the northern brew liquid malt version of Toris or do you want to experience the real frikkin thing from malt and hops. I could not agree more, lag and aspect ratio “skew” as I’ll call it messes with your gameplay big frikkin time. Agree emulation has a time and place, but OE hardware and software always has a special place in my heart. It’s the way I remember it and nothing compares to it. And no retro collecting is not pointless, because the originals are what keeps this alive, because as good as an emulation is, its still a copy and a copy is never as good in quality or fidelity as the original. I say this as someone who lost their extensive collection and appreciates the ability to collect rom’s and “collection emulation” carts so my kids can experience more games, but when my pop’s comes to visit I break out the old skool real Tyson’s punch out without lag so he can put on a clinic for my kids like I remember. Mic...dropped. 🍻

Boom!!!! Nothing like putting Tyson on the canvas :)! Emulation for sure has a time and place and sometimes it's hard to beat the convenience. We play video games in all forms for sure. But it's hard to beat the real thing. Cheers man!

I personally don't consider retro video game collecting pointless. But then again, I was born in 1990 and so that was probably the perfect time. My first consoles were the NES and the mighty Genesis. My Dad also knew these dudes that ran a video game store (which is still in business today), and I've known them since I was a baby.
I'm also a collector so it's a hobby for me. I also collect movies. You guys remember LaserDisc? I collect those.

Somehow i missed this vid when it dropped, so late to the comments but i had to drop a few lines. Couldnt agree with you guys more about the quality vs convenience thing. I cant imagine an album being released by one of my favorite bands and not wanting to have that physicality of putting something on, sinking back into the couch and digesting that thing whole, in order, at once. I feel absolutely the same about videogames. You're on point boys. Love your work.

This is a question that has been around for years!!
Personally I wouldn't say it's pointless, however, it is too expensive.
I love collecting and I have been a collectpr of most consoles over the years. However, a few years ago I did sell off the majority of my collection.
For me the thrill of finding games in teh wild far out weighed playing them. I then ended up with tons of games on the shelf that never got played. Kind of like teh over saturation on Netflix argument. That combined with the price of the games, I sold them and bought stuff I would play.
That said it is the best way to play them no dobt. But weighed up with the price it's a no brainer to emulate.
That is why I still buy for Wii and PS2 or 3 as they are cheap as chips and worth playing. (I also buy DVDs for 50p as its much more fun having them)
    Good topic guys ;)

You make some very good points, personally I haven’t watched the channels videos you’ve mentioned.
But completely agree when you’ve got too much choice on screen you end up scrolling through games and not playing anything, any game I’ve ever clicked with via flash carts I always try to get the physical copy.
I’m sure most collectors are there for
    1 the chase
    2 investment

I do want to buy everything so I have it, lol, but I am usually very specific on games I buy, and consoles I buy because I am doing it for nostalgia and experience. This comes down to personal preference. I may think someone going for a complete set of which they may play 5% of the library is pointless.......but if the collector derives some intangible value seeing games on a shelf, more power to them and who's really to judge. I *personally* collect games that are my personal favorites and/or that I never got around to playing but always wanted to. That is a looooooog list. But buying a game just because it was cheap or to fill out a library is something I stopped doing years ago. I employ a 'quality over quantity' approach.

My reason for collecting is the nostalgia, and I would have to say I'm enjoying playing and collecting..plus it's my happy/ escape place. When I'm playing..so my answer is no it's not a waste of time, the enjoyment of finding a classic game from a gaming shop, or a charity store. Reminds me of what Quentin Tarantino said years ago about Netflix. He said back in the day you would go to the video store and look at the movie, examine the back and make a choice. Nowadays, the causal nature of movie viewing because of Netflix makes it hard to commit to watching anything because of choice.

Going for complete sets or buying more games than you'll ever play isn't pointless. Having a massive game selection is like going to a video rental every single day and having the option of picking something you know and love or possibly discovering something new. Sure you may not ever play everything, but the option is always there. If I want a new experience it's sitting there on my big wall of games. And that's not pointless.

Completely agree with having too many options. When I was a kid/teen, I was always trading in games I was done with, and usually only had 5-10 games at a time. This made it far easier to make a choice on what to play. Now there are far too many options, and having a digital collecting IMO makes it worse because you cant get rid of them. On my PC I have a massive Steam Library, as well as some various other games. Boot up my Xbox and I have generations of digital games as well as over 100 free with gold titles. Games on my Switch and 3DS I've never touched as well. Wish I could sell all my digital games even if for pennies just to have a clear library again.

Jay leno has a car collection where 1 of his cars cost more than my collection. No one is saying hey, Jay 80 cars? Am I ashamed of my collection no? Why should I be? If the landscape of technology didn't change then people would want a chance to relive vs critique. Why do I collect? because 1 day, I would like to sit back and in my man cave an play fire pro six man on the saturn or try out a recommended game. Nowadays people lack attention span so that plays a part in these recent talks. A lot of collectors are people that grew up in that time period where for the authentic you had to go to the arcade. Coming from Pong we are fascinated by the changes. I was playing Dragons lair on the ds, That was impossible in the 80-90's. I had the Amiga version like 10 floppies. Great video dudes. You guys are my new favourite TH-cam channels, making my way through all your videos. Very interesting discussion. I totally agree with what yous said, too much choice on Netflix or even a raspberry pi makes every choice so disposable. Like you’re constantly thinking is this the best thing I should be playing/watching. Like I have so much choice there most be something better. Tarantino made a great point about how in a video store when you choose a movie you’re totally invested in it, like you’ve just payed for it after looking at all the boxes, reading the back, maybe asking the guy behind the counter, is this any good? But also you’re committed to that choice because you only have one night to watch it. So if the first 20 minutes aren’t great you’ll still probably stick with it, rather than just changing your mind like on Netflix etc. Anyway keep up the good work 👍

Is collecting pointless? Honestly in my opinion I don't think so, but I don't look down apon people who don't collect and I'm with them for the most part. I always have a fun time going out and collecting for multiple different reasons, like finding a great deal on a rare game, finding a hidden gem, talking to people is a rush that you don't get from getting games digitally. While I do collect video games, anime, manga and a bunch of stuff I do find the convenience of streaming service, especially for me because I review anime, and some of that stuff isn't even available on DVD or Blu Ray yet and I got nowhere else to go but to stream it (Legally of course). Physical media all the way! The only thing that I can have peace with not having physical is music. The fact that I can carry my entire catalog in my pocket is so clutch for me, only because there is music for different situations in life; working out, riding in the car, playing video games, etc.
Now video games and movies are a way different story! To me it’s all about preservation. Some movies will NEVER make it to streaming and some video games will just be forgotten on an emulator. I feel like us as retro gamers, have a very small piece of preservation in that regard. Anyways, I have rambled way too much, I love the channel and love you guys! Cheers!

My opinion is that game collections are to played, if you don't play then it is pointless to have a collection. There seem to be too many 'collectors' who hoard games they have no affection for in the hope that they will increase in value. Emulation does have it's place, one of my favourite games is Suikoden on PSone which I had in the 90s. To get that game back would cost me £150 yet I was able to get it on PSN for PS3 for less than £5. Sorry for the long comment, great video guys.

No sorry man, we love the engagement in our comment sections. It makes it fun for us to keep doing this. Totally agree with you on emulation having its place. Most of our screen cap is done through emulation because it is usually easier. Also, when we film off location it's easier as well. Also, the way expensive games are a pain in the nuts for sure. Anyway, thanks for watching and weighing in on this topic. Cheers!

    Game collecting definitely isn’t pointless.
I totally agree that physical games make it more special. Retro gaming is getting more expensive and I’ve come to terms with the fact I’ll probably never be able to buy even a fraction of some of the games I want. My concern is, if I just download and emulate all of them, will I still enjoy them as much? I don’t think I will.
At the same time I’ve yet to play Cuphead (a game I really want to play) purely because it’s only available digital.....I’m clearly missing out on an awesome coop game experience.
I think collecting the games you want to play rather than just filling your shelves with anything is the key.

100% spot on! That's how we collect as well. If we don't play it we sell it. Just sold a mess of Saturn games because we hadn't touched them in this last year. Plus, this way if you grab a game off the shelf you know it's gonna be a good time. Have an awesome week, cheers!

I 100% agree, Having a physical copy lets you enjoy a game more. Game Pass, Emulation, Steam, Flash Carts, Modded consoles are great, but you get information overload. With so many options and choices you get overwhelmed. Then when you finally decide to play a game you don't give it a full chance knowing you have 100's more to try and play. Good Video!

At the end of the day, it's not pointless if you enjoy it. I've been collecting NES games since the late 90's (with a 10+ year break in the middle). I would say in the past year or so it's become much less enjoyable due to all the chaos and speculation in the scene. As a result, I have stopped buying games despite only needing 4 to finish the set. I'm not selling my collection. Just pausing it and waiting out the storm. Once it's fun again, I'll go back to it.

To me collecting and gaming is a hobby and people who don’t share that hobby are going to think it’s a waste of time or money or whatever it may be. Like me I hate fishing I think it’s a waste of time and money but should that devalue someone else love for fishing? No it shouldn’t. Also if you have your games put on shelves and organized there is no way that’s hoarding. Hoarding would be if the guy had no game room or place to store the games nicely and everything’s in boxes or spread out all over the place or has a ton of duplicates for no reason. Just do what makes you happy that’s the whole point of living life

Part of this equation is individual temperament. Real consoles and flash carts work just for me. Why? Because I stick to a simple rule that I can only play one game at a time and not move on until I've finished it.
It's freed up tons of shelf space that was previously occupied by hundreds of cartridges, allowed me to devote more disposable income to other pursuits, and given me more time to play and enjoy the games themselves simply because I'm spending zero time hunting/shopping for new ones.

100% agree with just about everything you guys have said BUT I just can’t get on board with the idea of VHS collecting. 😂. There is something about physical media that people either “get” or don’t. I got into vinyl and CD collecting before game collecting (in still new to retro game collecting honestly). My plan is to only get games I like and plan on playing. I started by getting the consoles, games will come as I go. I’m absolutely loving it so far, just like when I first started getting vinyl, the options were endless and so many good cheap commons that give you satisfaction, only when you first start. Thanks guys!

As a minimalist Gamer... Yes & no.
I consider Retro gaming anything that ain't the current generation lineup. Switch, Xbox One, & PS5
No - If you're buying to collect & not play the game or only care about the value & not the game itself.
Yes - If there is no other way to experience it on a newer platform & it's a game you know you'll enjoy.
As a minimalist gamer I have certain rules I live by now
    1. Too many game, not enough time, & living space
    2. Replay Value + has to be a favorite of mine + Single or Multiplayer that I can pick up & put down without an attachment or addiction
    3. I avoid MMO like games now days that feel or slowly become a chore everyday
    4. I get overwhelmed easily knowing there's games I have currently that I bought & yet to play through.
    5. Retro gaming is expensive now. Everyone is suddenly a "Collector / Reseller".

It's to the point where if I look in my basement, where most of my games are stored , I find myself in a Daze lol . I just end up staring at a long time, in a mix looking at just the value I put in my collection, and with much overwhelmingly energy on what to play lol it's awesome . It gets kind of addicting sometimes which I gotta give myself a break cause I got most of the games I love ( collect mostly just PlayStation games 1 to 5 ) I'm not buying for no reason , but I am trying to see certain genres and series to see if I'm interested in . Just started collecting Vita games for the first time cause I just recently got one . And it's amazing. Wish I would've gotten it long time ago . Just something about having complete physical black or blue label copies on PlayStation, with manuals, reg cards etc just feels satisfying. I'm still collecting and playing and I just can't get enough of it . Kind of wish I had a better set up like shelves and stuff but for now I just wrap games in bags , put in boxes so they stay preserved. Make them last even longer condition wise

I see nothing wrong with emulation. I don't really do it much myself because I like the physical feel. I love popping in a disc or a cart. The thing is though. Retro gaming on real hardware is becoming hard. (Try finding a working turbo CD for less than a PS4) I've had several technical issues out of my consoles in the past year due to age. As much as I hate to say it, us collectors are a dying breed as the average gamer who wants to play a old game can just load it from a PC. As these old systems die less will want to hold onto real hardware.

What I love about the collection is that it's just the games that mattered to me and I have played every single one of them extensively (with maybe 5-6 exceptions of games I bought for super cheap at used game stores and didn't end up liking much and therefore barely played). I do agree that it's easy to get information overload and not know what to play when I have a large list of games on an emulator, but emulation for Gamecube, Wii, PS2, and PSP has come a long way. PS3 emulation is still a bit dodgy, but most 6th gen and older systems are pretty well covered as far as emulation goes. The Dolphin Emulator in particular is at about 96% compatibility, meaning most games are at least playable with very few issues. Not to mention a lot of these games look better when upscaled using an emulator, and will possibly run better as well with the right hardware. Input lag in emulation is more often caused by inaccurate emulation. The more accurate the emulation, the less input lag there will be, though at least using a low lag controller helps as well. Point is emulation has come further than you think, and I know this because I tend to follow it.

    • @GamingOffTheGrid
      @GamingOffTheGrid 3 ปีที่แล้ว

We totally get it for sure. Of course we love collecting physical media. But we also really enjoy emulating. Kinda depends on the game and the era for us. For the NES I really got to be on original hardware because I know the games so well. I can notice even the slightest emulation issue. But we emulate on one of our Dreamcasts with the GDEMU and love it. Got a buddy working on a Game Cube for us as well. So we lean towards physical but also enjoy the land of emulation. Thanks for watching this oldie man :)! Always cool to see old videos get a view or 2. Cheers!
