Cant deny he looks 20 years younger than he is, me I prefer the odd glass of wine after 18 holes....

The unasked question about Augusta National: is the onslaught of hot balls and club technology destroying the integrity of the Masters?

Just one point, some top golfers men and women do to much gym work and residence training and have given themselves bad backs and injuries unnecessarily, gym work and residence training for golfers should be golf performance targated and in some moderation. Arguably Tiger messed his back up with lifting very heavy weights to often.

He has the biggest ego in golf. Is there anyone with more of a superiority complex than him

Anyone who has accomplished amazing things has supreme pride in their achievements. People who tend to call that ego has generally never achieved anything big in life

Everyone has a different personality. You probably are the type of person that hates michael jordan and calls him cocky.

+swagcity not at all Confidence in your ability is essential to becoming successful. What isn't essential is constantly bragging about how many sit up you can do, constantly turning every situation into being about how when he won this tournament and that tournament and how he's travelled more than anyone, easts more healthy than anyone etc etc etc. If you watch on of his videos he bitches and moans about when He lost a major to Palmer as though Arnold was lucky to beat him despite putting on a fantastic charge yet he always talks about how amazing some of his come from behind victories were. That and I've never seen any other legend of the game constantly put ordinary golfers down during clinics by mocking their swings and calling them fat and lazy before yet again bragging about his situps.

+swagcity and just to put some context to my opinion I worked for Callaway for 8 years and did 3 talks/signing sessions with him where he was there to promote the new products (as per the agreement in his contract) and he again managed to turn the conversation to his fitness, tournaments he won in the 1960's, how he pushed the boundaries of SA sport, his record in senior majors etc etc and hardly mentioned his sponsor or the equipment the reason for him being there

Not drinking and not smoking? Who the hell are YOU to say those things are bad or I shouldn't do them? I smoke cigars here and there and drink every weekend. Thats what makes ME happy. I certainly dont want to live to be a 100 if it means not doing the things I enjoy. Stop being so small minded.

There's an obesity epidemic in the US, where millions of people also drink simply to get drunk. Nobody questions the ill-effects of smoking. Is that mitigated in moderation? Sure. But his point is that those things he mentioned -- drinking, smoking, obesity -- are very real problems for way too many people.
