Granted we're 5 months down the road; However, I just purchased a pair of these for $550.00 AUD White from JBHIFI Australia. (No affiliation in any way, including stock.) Less than a week into getting to know one another, I'm Impressed! For ease of use though, Apple Air Pods Pro 2nd Gen. is still my go to for daily activities. Perhaps BOSE excel in the non-mundane daily activities?
I have Bose QC Ultra in Lunar Blue. Problem is a delay in starting up/turn ON and making connection. Toggling between songs or re-starting of songs there is a long delay. Strong Clamping force of ear cans (reason why ANC works efficiently) which makes them uncomfortable for wearing more than 1 hour. Volume finger gesture if swiped all the way up or down as moving too fast, causes Bose QC Ultra to malfunction. The Bose App on Samsung android phones when moving and looking at things on the phone, QC Ultra pauses a lot. It is bass heavy so need to adjust and lower in the Equalizer. QC Ultra are my on the go - traveling companion. Sennheiser Momentum 4 in Black/Copper. Fussy touch gestures. Otherwise, for a mid priced ($250 to $450) BT headphones, they provide the best audio quality Period. For use at home while relaxing as the Momentum 4 are the best. Sorry, not a Sony fan and refuse to purchase anything with the Sony brand name. Same goes for Apple products.
Loved the 45s as the cup was deep and my ears fit perfectly. Tried out some XM-4s and the grip was too tight, pressing on my ears and causing pain after a year. Would you say these Ultras are more like the qc45's in terms of space in the cups for ears? Half the folks say the Ultra is terrible comfort and the other half say it's the best. It's impossible to know which to believe 🤪
Bought two pair and both have ridiculously poor QC right from the box. Loud squeaks, clunks, creaking all heard in the ear cups. I figured out how to fix all of these and if you look a site that rhymes with eddit and has a Bose group you can see the procedure. Real shame as the sound is good once EQd and the ANC is very good too. Very comfortable for long periods as well.
I had the m4 m5 and now the Bose. I thought the m4 was better than the m5. Sony Noise reduction is somewhat better than the Bose. But further quality of a sound, I prefer the Bose
Hey there, I have a question. I have the quietcomforts. When the headphones are in QUIET mode is that full ANC? I don't see any way to adjust the amount. Or maybe I need to add the HOME screen, how do I get the HOME screen to pop up❓ I'm assuming the quietcomforts have that too
That's covered in the QuietComfort review th-cam.com/video/1IRnfok2vnE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=jc1CF5jDOSI0ZBdY You basically need to add a custom profile and adjust it from there.
Samsung doesn't support AptX Adaptive, only basic AptX. But Bose doesn't support the basic AptX, only the new Adaptive. Therefore you're stuck with AAC.
Bass is a cheap way to get the masses happy because people consider that a good feature when it actually isn’t. Bass is extremely overrated and misunderstood. It’s all about the texture of the bass, not the punch
Holding the ear cup for transparent is in not prattle specially on Sony. I find the you bit bit picky on lifestyle features that are not fundamental. In your reviews I find it bit fatiguing
It needs to be considered that these are not cheap headphones. Manufacturers need to remain highly creative and competitive with unique features. In addition, what might not be important to you, could be for others.
@@BabblingbooleanI don't agree. They don't need all the extra features. I hate the touch controls of the Sony 1000xm5 and xm4 and the sound quality is a bit worse on them. Also most people charge their headphones every night and use their headphones wirelessly so that is not important. If I wanted a pair of wired headphones I would get a pair of open back headphones.
Nice I just got the Bose QC Ultra and i love them! Just wanna ask you something, have you tried the Momentum 4? Are they louder than Bose Quietconfort Ultra? It Is the same? Which one is louder? The Momentum 4 was my boy but finally i decided for the Bose because i have the QC Earbuds 1st generation and they are my sunshine haha. Thanks Bro!
I tried both of them, and the Bose QC Ultra sound better and get louder. They have better instrument separation. The bass also gets deeper while being very clean sounding. The Bose are also quite a bit lighter and far more comfortable. My ears get very uncomfortable after an hour of wearing the Sennheiser momentum 4.

Great unbiased video! A question: Would you consider these to be louder and bassier than the Momentum 4s?
I hope Bose is listening to this as well I should have watched your review prior to purchase

Excellent review but Momentum 4 for me.
That's an outrageous price for the limitations that you've mentioned.
Liked and subscribed.
Thanks!
Can you do for me a video Bose Quietcomfort ultra headphones to connect to laptop
In the eq settings, are the vocals the treble?
Hey there, I have a question.

quiet is full ANC. aware is transparency mode. at least that's how it is on the QC45 for me

28 hours of battery is more than enough for most people, and _really_ close to Sony. Even 22 hours with Immersive Audio is still great.
How did you get aptx to work? it always appears grayed out on my s23 ultra
Same.
Samsung doesn't support AptX Adaptive, only basic AptX.

Therefore you're stuck with AAC.
Thank you...nice review 👍
Side tone works when you turn off loud sound awareness
They charge in 15 min. So chill let them charge 10 min and you have like 12 hours or listening
they get 3 hours of charge in 15 minutes
I found the bass to be lacking. You can’t feel it vibrating or punching. I find my AirPods Pro gen 2 to be significantly better quality when EQed
Did you download the bose app??
Also, Bose isn’t known for bass. They’re known for vocals and clarity. A lot of people download eq apps.
Bass and thump is what everyone wants
They have a bass boost in there duhhhh and an equalizer . Read the book or d u not know how to download either?
Bass is a cheap way to get the masses happy because people consider that a good feature when it actually isn’t. Bass is extremely overrated and misunderstood. It’s all about the texture of the bass, not the punch
20hr charge I adequate for most long flights and day to day.
I can't find the written review
It'll be up this week!

XM5's are for gaylords
@@jaypalmer3806 Good to know

You turn it on wrong.
👍🏼
No Passive Listening No Purchase For Me
way over priced stick with my xm4s and wait for the xm6
And then cry about you xm6 breaking like the xm5
The Bose QC ultra sound better than Sony 1000xm5
Audio quality is mediocre.
