Hey Norm, I'm Dave, a 74 year old trapper from North Pole, Alaska. For over 30 years I trapped in the Brooks Range or just in its foothills. They are the farthest North mountains in the North American continent. I have enjoyed your channel since you first started and appreciate your hard work and success trapping--and hearing you say 'obviously' on many occasions! I may get out trapping later this year but time will tell. I may be one of your farthest north channel watchers. Keep up your excellent videos and be safe out there alone. Trapper Dave
Norm thank you for detailing your trip to the camp especially the train ride, I never realized the distance you truly have to travel, here’s to a terrific season!
So nice to see you back on Norm! Yahoo, I love your channel. Thanks for sharing again and for all the hard work you do for us. Good luck up at camp this winter.👍❄️🦡🐾🦬🦊🐺

Glad your back, be safe and many tight chains for you. Much respect from Maine my friend. Love to see a wolf , lynx, or wolverine on your line this year. Merry christmas friend.
Finally. Thanks for uploading, Norm. I've been waiting. I was just complaining(wondering) to the Mrs. two days ago that maybe you were having some problems. I take back all the bad things I said about you😆 Excited for the next videos. Let's go get em!! PS There were so many pike in that sled I couldn't see the dozen hard boiled eggs for the smart and wary ones. 😂
Interesting set of events! I just wished I could remember the various locations that you were/went to in this video. Thanks for sharing. From Hells Canyon, Frank.

I look forward to your videos Norm. Best of luck this trapping season. I took the train once from Chruchill to Winnipeg back in 1982. It was a very nice experience.
Nice video :) I trapped for many years & I tried a couple of those sleighs & none held up over stumps & logs & hauling firewood so I built my own :) I pounded it for over 15 years before I had to make another ! Last year I built two more one for me & one for my kids Just to use for firewood, but a little tippy if you pile it to high it's only 24" wide & should of been 28" like my other ones, I have a few other people watching my channel & building the same :) good luck trapping, Have a great Christmas
