jamie foxx did a mike tyson impression on a podcast and the first bit was really funny and then he talked about mike tyson's struggles and did a more serious impression which was unreal, he's scary talented

Well, in their defense after he changed his name to a symbol some might not have realized it was he.
Dave was right when he said Jamie had done a impression of Mike Tyson in his presence.
Jamie said himself when he was starting out as a stand-up, he was about to do his Mike impression and he heard a voice in the crowd shout out "Yo funny man, Mike is in here"
Jamie then said the crowd went quiet, and after a minute the voice shouted out again.
"Mike says you can do your joke...But, that sh*t better be funny"
Afterwards Mike came backstage and they became good friends after.
Even if most times he doesn't get the voice right, he nails the cadence, mannerisms and inflections every time.
Just gifted. If you know Shannon, Monique, and Steven A, you know he is spot on and they are not easy people to impersonate.

I seem to remember an interview where Foxx admitted that he came in thinking he was the dogs bollocks for Django and tried playing who Django became not who he was and that Tarantino was correct him on it. It obviously worked because that film in my opinion is a masterpiece.

Tarantino's new podcast Video Archives which he does with his Pulp Fiction collaborator Roger Avary, is amazing! They usually pick three old movies to talk about and it doesn't matter if you've never seen any of them before, you get to hear Tarantino talk about the actors and the film and it's always fascinating.
What new podcast? I certainly couldn't find any podcast of his that's called "Video Archives".

Tarantino busts _every_ big actor's balls. He absolutely roasted Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio similarly when making Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. He made fun of their wealth and put them down for being 'fancy' and spoiled which is something Tarantino does all the time, and he even went HARD about them being "has-beens" and old!!
Tarantino wants all actors to check their egos and personas at the door, and focus ONLY on nailing the movie. He gets down to business, and speaks straight.
Travolta hilariously talked about a similar experience with Tarantino on "Inside The Actor's Studio."
