- Rare training footage of Muhammad Ali's rival "Smokin Joe Frazier. See his dedication in the gym with some clips you may never have seen before. You see why he could slug for 15 hard rounds, because of his intense boxing routine. You can find more rare training highlight video on my channel please check them out. Enjoy this compilation and I hope it a good motivational mix to inspire you in the gym.
Frazier wasn't just a boxing legend, the man was a working class icon. In the early days, (and if I'm not mistaken, right up until he won the title) Frazier would get up and run, then go work and 8 hour manual labor shift, then go box at night. His work ethic was legendary, and it was that work ethic that separated him from the crowd. Truly one of the toughest and mentally strongest fighters in boxing history.
Well said!
He’s tough! Where did you find this information?
@@DHILLA-yz4rxHe talks about it in his autobiography, "Smokin Joe".
@@vahinsasi thanks bro!! How did you like the book?
did he sleep, lol
Joe Frazier is someone most people should learn from: hard worker, helpful, humble... What a pitty I have never had a chance to meet him and shake his hand. RIP Mr. Frazier
Wish I could have met him too
I have his book "box like the pros" and his workout/training is unbelievable simple and difficult this man was a machine!!
Smokin Joe Frazier was a great fighter, he had alot of heart and courage definitely a top ten greatest HW of all times, nice video training tribute.
MY FAVORITE FIGHTER!!!!! NOT THE BEST NOT THE FASTEST NOT THE MOST SKILLED BUT WORKED HIS ASS OFF
Not the best not the strongest not the fastest not the most skilled not the smartest but!!! The Toughest and Bravest man that has ever lived!!!
SMOKIN JOE FRAZIER!!!
He is the most underrated fighter though
I mean he was the best on his prime beating even Ali if you ask me. One of the best if not the best and most skilled in-fighters ever. Like yeah he worked his ass off. But the guy was a prodigy.
@@rosure7 ya but he did not have just a natural gift like Ali, Foreman or other high level boxers do....he understood boxing well and to get to the level of other gifted boxers he worked twice as hard....I can relate to him a lot, I am not gifted but just bust my ass training.....so he motivates me a lot, Ali and Foreman not so much
@@beefy1986 You cant be that Good and not have a gift. He got plenty like his power/size ratio and his iron chin.
Truly amongst the G.O.A.T's He had a ferocity that few could muster and his tenacity, stamina and determination his punching ability and power behind it was incredible was unquestionably among the halls of fame as truly unique and standing alone. In todays standards he is a cruiser weight and yet at 200 -210 lbs. and often droping weight faster in the ring then when putting on he was still fighting the likes of pure heavy weight power houses Foreman, Norton, Ali, and many more, battle tested and giving them a taste of hell in the ring of fire, its..Joe Fraizer R.I.P never forgotten one of Philadelphia's all time greats..
JOE IS ONE one of the best of all times.
Try to 10 he was a powerful man a and had one of the best left hooks watch it the thriller in manilla
Most of the all joe Frazer had heart. Plus he had great hed movement he was very hard to hit he one of my favorite boxers.
He was the toughest of all
hes my favourite.
R.I.P. SMOKING JOE.
Rest in peace Joe. What a man, what a fighter!
Shiiiiiiiiiiit, i agree with you
I love Frazier. He brings the SMOKE that ALI CHOKES.

REST IN POWER CHAMPION 🥊
Joe Frazier was a gentleman.
He definitely was, had great character.
I think it was sometime in 1970 while I was living on Sugar mountain in Bushkill PA. Joe was training at a local resort called Vacation Valley. Many days on the school bus we would see Joe running by himself on the backside of Sugar Mountain. This was no ordinary road as it was a long steep hill about 2 miles long. No wonder he had such stamina. Pretty cool as a 9 year old kid to see the heavyweight champ train and run by your house.
One of the toughest toughest TOUGHEST boxers of all time
Can't argue with that.
Of his time not all time
I’m not saying he was the toughest but I seriously doubt there was anybody tougher.
Really got to appreciate him as a real man and perfect of an human being
THE toughest of ALL time
Nothing but love and respect for Joe Frazier
A true warrior, one of my favorite.
Maurice Daugherty, he was a warrior and loved it. Wish he were here still.
Joe had wonderful rhythm and timing, which seems to becoming a lost art in these days of strength and conditioning regimes. He also had a heart as big as the moon, them fights with Ali damaged them both irreparably, oh what fighters have to give. Wonderfull channel my mate any chance of a Bob Foster training vid.
Yup now boxing is all about money and how flashy you are instead of how well you do against the best fighters in that ring. Wish I was born in the 50s man I watch those old fights and envy those who got to relish those events in real time. And I was born '04 lmao
I love watching him hit that speed bag, it's pure magic
Imagine being an iconic heavyweight champion and your home city that you’ve stayed in and represented your whole life erects a statue of a heavyweight champion...oh, but it’s not you, it’s a fictional character from a movie about boxing. Philly shit on Joe.
Not to mention what happened to his gym ... a real shame really
Not to mention you got your name dragged into the mud by the same person who you helped out when he couldn't make a living. Love Ali, but Frazier didn't deserve any of that.
Philly does have a Joe Frazier statue…R.I.P. Champ.
Also, it wasn't the city of Philadelphia that commissioned the Rocky statue.
Sylvester Stallone did that on his own. He actually had two statues made. He gave one to the city after it appeared in Rocky III and put the other one in his Los Angeles house.
The singer Adele bought that house and insisted that should be able to keep the statue.
The one Rocky statue is at Adele's house and the other one is near the bottom of the steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
Meanwhile Joe Frazier has a statue down near the sports stadiums in South Philadelphia.
They don't make em like Joe anymore. Hell of a champ, hard work and toughness personified.
Beautiful montage. Frazier is a legend forever.
Smokin joe doesn’t get the recognition he deserves imo….a true warrior
Definitely agree! I'll be uploading a Frazier mini doc in a few days, stay tuned
Damn every aspect of this video is just beautiful. The music, the footage, the nostalgic feeling. I love this channel
Natural born tough guy.
yes naturally, but there is no replacement for hard work

@@isaacdiakite6249 yes hes from south carolina.
I love this guy R.I.P joe.
Joe Frazier not Rocky should have been a statue for him.
#PHILLY
In fact the statue of Stallone-Rocky is a fool matter...why did they built it?Frazier was the man!
@@brunocontiero5310 It was for the movie. The producers for Rocky III built it and paid for it, not the city.
If Frazier was Italian-American instead of Afro-American you bet your ass they'd have been a prominent statue of him in front of those steps.
He had 0 quit in him. He’s just keep getting up.
What a fighter! I had the greatest left hook of all times. RIP Smokin'Joe
Best there was, if only he changed his style everyone knew that left was the killer and he was right handed actually pretty insane when you think about it .. RIP LEGEND
Yeah. It's crazy how that was his main weapon and most people still couldn't stop it. Shows how great that left hook is.
@@Ffeoli1039 if he would of had a bigger right hand Ali may not be Ali. Just for playful thinking, Smokin' had everything else, skill heart, stamina and determination.
None could say he quit a fight, the definition of a gladiator
Beautiful video..joe frazier was such an inspiration to me he had so much heart never gave up even when he was getting beat badly by George foreman u can break his ribs break his jaw his eyes could be closed shut but his heart would never give up he just keep coming until he no longer couldn't respect Rest in peace champ..beautiful video thank u keep em coming to fighters these are more than videos to us means alot .💯🖤

I love it this video and music 🎵 inspires me at the gym and even taking walks listening to it in my headphones
His sparing partner includes Ken Norton and Larry Holmes.
Music in your videos is perfect....
My favorite heavy weight... He had the best left hook & the best head movement in my opinion.. Plus he was a great person.. Respectfully
This music perfectly suits the classy persona of joe frazier.
RIP JOE one of the best puncher in the history
The best croucher of all time: the hardest to hit cleanly, the 2nd fastest croucher of all time(Tyson), the most active, the 2nd toughest croucher of all-time(Marciano endured a split nose to win a fight), the most accurate, the best at cutting the ring off, the hardest fighter to cut in history, and he could go the distance to KO a fighter!
That fight when Ezzard Charles split Marciano’s nose 👃 with that brutal uppercut should have been stopped but due to the mafia the referee allowed Marciano to continue when he threw a bunch of illegal punches to beat an old Ezzard Charles Marciano was an overrated bum.
@@bossplayermfs5972 I get your viewpoint and it's certainly possible*, but Rocky was still super tough...
*I even believe Frazier beats Rocky due to being a faster starter than he was. Marciano was likely the slowest starter of any great fighter--even slower than Joe. In addition, Joe was a very accurate puncher, would hit both to the head or body a lot, was a faster puncher than Rocky, and--also--be the naturally bigger fighter(as he was when he fought Foster). I don't think he had much room for error; he had 5 rounds to end it(Joe would not rely on cuts) or Rocky's bombs might be too much.
Round 3-5 would be HUGE. If Marciano escapes unscathed, his chances would improve of possibly getting a Walcott-crusher home somewhere on Joe. But, I don't think he would, because Frazier turned almost all fighters that he hit into roadkill(except AIi--who still got a first-rate beating). Even Quarry, who was a very tough heavyweight over the first 7 rounds--no matter what you did or who was doing the hitting...
You’re a 🤡

My boxing hero. Love him man. He was so chill and humble and just effective. Everyone felt that body hook and respects him for it. Learn so much from him.
My boyfriend introduced me to Joe Frazier and I'm so glad he did, what an incredible fighter!
Most feared left hook in boxing history.
Thank you again brother
Joe Frazier is one of my favorites of all time, and i love studing him, joe and mike tyson are some of my all time favs, along with ali and rocky Marciano
1:07 and 1:10 Rocky Graziano and the great Joe Louis watching Frazier train 🔥

And Joe loved his family. I love Joe Frazier.
Most brutal fighter I had ever saw with Ali, immeaditly became a fraizer ever since a were a kid. And man a lot of things he did.
Great fighter. Even better human being. Love this man. True champ
RIP JOE A TRUE LEGEND AND ONE OF THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME
This MAN was FEARLESS
Best video of this channel! My favourite boxer💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
One of the best fighters ever to put on them gloves 🥊
One of the most underrated boxer ❤☺️
Not many in the HEAVYWEIGHT division like FRAZIER today he beat ALI in 1971 at 5ft 11 and 205lbs! MARCIANO 5ft 10 and half inches and ONLY 192lbs (which would now be considered CRUISERWEIGHT in today's current crop of boxers!)
I'd love to have seen LISTON vs FRAZIER fight in their prime that would have been a great fight. CLAY/ALI , NORTON , SHAVERS , HOLMES , CHUVALO , FOREMAN all great HEAVYWEIGHTS! Today we have FURY , ORTIZ , WILDER , PARKER , JOSHUA a completely different generation all over 6ft and exceeding well over 200lbs!
Keung Kau All over 6ft 5
ali schooled ernier terrrel who was 6 ft 6
But today's heavyweights are in the worst heavyweight era
Rocky overrated highly tbh beat a 38 year old joe Louis n 33 year old Ezzard Charles that’s it both were past their best
Great, fantastic and immortal Joe Frazier!!! Respect forever!!!
Great tunes and cool training footage. Love your channel!
Olympic Gold Medal winner and Heavyweight Champion of the World…R.I.P. Champ also Philly does have a statue of the Champ down by the stadium area.

The work-ethic of Joe Frazier, heart of Evander Holyfield, and skills of Muhammad Ali = Unbeatable fighter. lol!
Smokin' Joe!!!
Ali didn't have to demean Joe Frazier to promote the fight. Their purses were already guaranteed. Two undefeated champions facing each other is enough to build interest in the fight. Unnecessary insults to humble hard working fighter.
Joe had said this of Ali’s trash talk before the fight... “He is nervous, he's scared, he’s all psyched up. I'm afraid he'll have a heart attack before the fight comes off”. I think Joe got that absolutely right.
@@ernc1941
I don't think Ali could stand that in the biggest fight of his life, Joe Frazier put him on the seat of his pants.
Seeing Ali laying flat on his back is my favourite photo of Ali. "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee, who's that on his back, why it's Muhammad Ali." Thank you Mr. Smokin' Joe Frazier.
SmokinJoe one of the toughest and greatest boxers ever
I don't care what no one says, Joe is a good looking guy.
I always thought the same my friend.
Couldn't believe when Ali called him a gorilla.
Frazier was an attractive man. I like Ali, but Ali was tilted (and dead wrong) with that specific line of trash talk
Supreme work on the video my friend, as always top quality with spot on soundtrack each time 10/10!
As for smokin’ Joe Frazier, such a en elite boxing athlete! Iconic elusiveness, defense, stamina and the left hook alone made it all look easy! One of the greatest ever.

Smokin Joe was the ultimate fight and a great man - Strength and determination like no other.
Imo the real rocky Balboa. RIP smokin Joe Frazier.
RIP my Brother one of the classiest HW ever ... May the Lord keep you . PitBull the Latino Bro from NYC
I rated Ali as the best ever but I loved Joe. He pushed Ali to the number 1 position. Joe was great and tough and honest and a lovely man. Rest in peace Joe we all remember you as a great, great champion boxer.
Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier for me the two greatests boxer
The real Rocky Balboa here.
There is an interview of Ali in which he states he originally thought he did not lose that first fight to Joe Frazier. He said he watched the film of it over and over and over again, hoping to find some reason to believe he had won the fight. In the end he had to admit Frazier had beaten him.
😂
he knew in the locker room he got beat.
And never forgotten champ 2019 rip legend
I need a cid on his broken rhythm. Its so good
Love this respectable man❤
Smokie Joe!!! 👍👍👍
Great video!!!
left hook master
Joe had the biggest heart of any fighter who ever stepped in a ring--an absolute warrior!!
great video great music one of boxing legends
One of the most fearsome heavyweights of all time -like the soundtrack!
Awesome video I wouldn’t want to get hit with those left hooks
Forget about his Size...he overcame that with Workrate...An Iron Chin,.. Skills and Guts. His hunger alone would be too much for these fighters today. And if he fought today he would natrually be a little bigger in these times...Just like these fighters today would not be the size they are now if they fought back then. Its all about changing times.
+Eddie Lester Prime Holyfield would deal with Fraizer.
Oldschoolhiphop yes it would have been a good one.Styles make fights..Holyfield style matches up well.It would have been similar to Holyfield vs Quawi..when they were Cruiserweight. Frazier crowds and swarms more though. I agree with you.
Sorry brother , I as well admired Joe Frazier... Hes a warrior
But he never had an iron chin

That was the great Joe Louis at 1:10. 'Smokin' Joe would have put it up to him.
Joe Louis was a Frazier supporter and had predicted Frazier win over Ali in the first fight.
First off all Joe Frazier looked up to Joe Louis and always showed him respect, 2ndly no HW fighter is beating a prime Joe Louis, and lastly just stfu and watch the video.

Best left hook in boxing period
Smokin' Joe Frazier was a CLASS ACT both as a fighter and better yet as a man. THE GREATEST who won with a quiet dignity. 🤗❣️😃
Smoking joe
Would have loved to see Frazier vs Tyson, while both in their prime!
tyson was too skilled, tua would've a better match up.
Korrina Horn - obviously, you know very little about Smoking Joe Frazier.
Tonio Yendis Tyson would have ripped Joe's head off, literally. I mean Oscar Bonavena shook Joe repeatedly and floored him twice. Foreman floored him ten times total. Joe was great but No way he walks into Tyson and wins.
John Shell - we can agree to disagree, but it would be a great squabble for sure!
Tonio Yendis I respect your opinion but prime Tyson all wrong for Joe. Too fast, too strong and hit like a truck. Joe bravely would be out in two rounds or less.
I love this music
Do you know that name?
A dream match of mine: Rocky Marciano vs Smokin' Joe - I cant call a winner. 🥊
Damn yeah that's a tough one to predict, that's one we'd have to see to know tho unfortunately it won't ever happen lol
