For example, I think Shaun and Mindy would say that marriage is hard - or that it can be in any case - whereas Brooklyn said it’s not that marriage is hard but that life is hard and that being married doesn’t change that. I think marriage is hard, whichever way you try to hack it. But that doesn’t mean it’s always hard, just that it can be, whereas Brooklyn has the opinion that it’s not so difficult so far.

I know it feels so good to be with a guy that will walk around the world to make you happy. A guy that you can be completely yourself with, that doesn't judge you and only gives you love. However, I am just not sure it is a good idea to be with a guy because you know you won't get hurt. Of course in the end you want a guy that will marry you and not hurt you, but this can take time in a relationship, and yes, in the process you can get hurt, which is awful. Being with a guy because he loves you so much is a good idea but it can't be the only reason, in my humble opinion. I would want to love the guy just as much as he loves me and be madly in love with him. And yes, I am 29 years old and single (which is pretty common in the Netherlands, so it's probably comparable to 25 in the US or so), but I am still waiting and I know he will come. It might not be my place to say this, but I really want the very best for you and I want you to be the most happy and be madly in love. But of course your opinion is the one that matters, and not one of an anonymous long time fan.

Age gap; my husband is 8 years older than me, there are SOME things that show our age differences. We were born and raised in the same neighborhood, we know a lot of the same people, and we have tonnnns of things in common. The only time our age shows is whenever it’s something generational. He’s an 80’s baby, and a 90’s kid. I’m a 90’s baby and a 2000’s kid… so that’s when things show. But honestly we are so alike the age isn’t an issue! Plus he certainly doesn’t come across as his age (36) but not in an immature way? If that makes sense??

Totally agree to the whole “marriage is hard” statement. I’ve been with my person for 11 years now. We’ve been married almost 2 years. Nothing has ever been hard with us. We communicate and love each other and through all these years, nothing has ever felt difficult. I think when you find the right fit, it shouldn’t feel hard.

You also have to think about the fact that yes he is now in videos but this is still her and Baileys channel. He has also only been in this setting for a year now while Brooklyn has been doing this for over 10 years. So obviously she is more comfortable.
Marriage isn’t hard yet lol. You guys are still in the honeymoon “easy” faze of Marriage. You’ve only been married 6 months so just keep an open mind is all I’m saying. If things get hard and you change your mind a number of years down the line, don’t give up cause your likely to change you mind after a few years. Hard doesn’t mean you are unhappy and it doesn’t mean your marriage is ‘on the rocks’ and hard doesn’t last forever but yes Marriage can get hard, so chances are as you mature your minds will change on that one. You can have hard parts of marriage and still love and want to be with that person. So those listening that have hard times in your marriage or will have hard times to come, don’t feel like you’re not good enough just because someone married for only 6 months said marriage isn’t and won’t be hard, it’s not true, it can get hard and have hard parts but that doesn’t mean it can’t be really good as well. Life has fazes, easy and hard come and go and swap around, so go easy on yourself, it’s okay if it’s hard sometimes, there isn’t anything wrong with that.
You have no right to tell them marriage isn't hard yet...Everyone's relationship is different and those first few months being married, especially when you didn't live with the person long term beforehand, is a HUGE adjustment and can be very hard on the relationship. That being said, hard isn't a bad thing and getting through it together is such a rewarding feeling.

I think when people say marriage is hard it’s because they are at a phase where them and their partner haven’t fully figured out the communication/emotions/ love languages yet and if you can get through that part that’s when it feels a lot easier after that… just an opinion!

When people say marriage is hard they do mean those decision making times I don’t think anyone means it’s hard to just be with one person lol also for people who’ve never been in serious relationships before they met “the one” or aren’t as financially stable or privileged, yes it can be a little tough in the beginning to adjust. You know you have the right one if you both choose commitment, communication and affection. Some couples do have some conflicts in the beginning but conflict just means something you both need to heal within yourself!
My husband and I have an 8 year gap in age, but it’s never felt like it. Also, you’re right! When you find that one person, you know you want to be with that person for the rest of your life. Congratulations to the both of you!

Hard doesn’t mean you are unhappy and it doesn’t mean your marriage is ‘on the rocks’ and hard doesn’t last forever but yes Marriage can get hard, so chances are as you mature your minds will change on that one. You can have hard parts of marriage and still love and want to be with that person. So those listening that have hard times in your marriage or will have hard times to come, don’t feel like you’re not good enough just because someone married for only 6 months said marriage isn’t and won’t be hard, it’s not true, it can get hard and have hard parts but that doesn’t mean it can’t be really good as well. Life has fazes, easy and hard come and go and swap around, so go easy on yourself, it’s okay if it’s hard sometimes, there isn’t anything wrong with that.
You have no right to tell them marriage isn't hard yet...Everyone's relationship is different and those first few months being married, especially when you didn't live with the person long term beforehand, is a HUGE adjustment and can be very hard on the relationship.
That being said, hard isn't a bad thing and getting through it together is such a rewarding feeling.

Not to be mean or anything but like i feel like there are a lot of times where Dakota tries to talk but Brooklyn talks instead and doesn't let him talk, like kinda of interrupts him, never let his has a word , so I kinda feel bad for him, but i don't know if that's case, so hope im wrong, but you know i love your relationship

I agree! I hate when people say marriage is hard. I think marriage takes work, but I think going through the hard parts of life are much easier with your person by your side. The marriage itself doesn’t feel hard at all.

I think when people say marriage is hard it’s because they are at a phase where them and their partner haven’t fully figured out the communication/emotions/ love languages yet and if you can get through that part that’s when it feels a lot easier after that… just an opinion!

When people say marriage is hard they do mean those decision making times I don’t think anyone means it’s hard to just be with one person lol also for people who’ve never been in serious relationships before they met “the one” or aren’t as financially stable or privileged, yes it can be a little tough in the beginning to adjust. You know you have the right one if you both choose commitment, communication and affection. Some couples do have some conflicts in the beginning but conflict just means something you both need to heal within yourself!
