    Very cool ,maybe put some bigger wheels on it to make it more of an offroader

    Man you gotta take it out to a feild or something. Seeing it in your small shed area just aint doing it justice. Alot of work for some doughnuts. Also gotta figure oht your throttle. It seems to be either nothing or everything. Anyways definetly a cool build even though you kinda left us hanging. 👍👍

      Yeah I kinda destroyed the rear wheels a couple mounths ago, it was too much weight and power for them. I have a full time job now and I left this project aside a bit because I dont have much free time right now. The throttle is servo controlled, and I have plenty of range on the controller, I think the problem is the engine that is too snapy.

    This is pretty cool! I bought someone else's homemade 1/4 scale car, and everything works on it, but it has no shocks! Where did you get those? Thanks.

    Make your own Saturday night oval race track. Get other guys to build cars too. Make the bodies out of for sale signs it's cheap and easy to cut and bend.

    Really good video impressed with the build, :) been itching to try one for my self, any pointers you can give? by the way did you happen to weigh your car? just curious as to total weight. keep the videos coming please

    • @EDCMaker
      @EDCMaker  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! I'm not sure on what to point out, I've started this car about 2 years ago and it has been an on/off project, but what I found more difficult about the build it self was the steering.. It was just a nightmare to get a somewhat working system (Its still garbage but it works.. kinda), the rest was quite simple to build. I didnt had any plans about the layout of the car when I started, but I sugest you do if you attempt to build one. About the weight, I never weigh it but I lifted it up a couple times... probably around 10Kg (22 lbs) to 15Kg (33 lbs) I would say.

    Is the axle homemade?
    (if it was homemade) what is the Diameter?

    • @EDCMaker
      @EDCMaker  5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The rear axle is just a M12 threaded rod. Its easier to bolt the wheels and sprocket. I will probably change for a M16 because this one has bent a bit... I was expecting that, I have installed a small 12V lead battery on the back wich is a bit heavy and the rod is quite long, but without the battery the m12 would be fine. I'll post updates later
