I don't know why, but I always felt that the intro for the anime reflects Mei, whereas the outro reflects Yamato. Maybe its because the intro is a female vocalist and outro is a male vocalist. It just kinda felt right to me. The intro is soft and quiet like Mei, and the outro is exciting and passionate like Yamato
Ending of second episode: Y: Do you like me, Mei? M: (Thinking to herself) How am I supposed to answer all of a sudden? Y: If you don't say anything, I'll kiss you for real. *And the song plays* THE FEELSSS I GOT AT THIS TIME. :')
In my opinion, the robot resembles the man's girlfriend. He was happy when they were together. But when the girl died (the part when he screamed), he broke down. Just like when the robot malfunction, it shot a missile (?) towards the man. Meaning, the girl's death killed him internally.
I love how this ending picks up right after you find out something shocking about a current situation in the anime, it happens in like every single episode. So nostalgic.

If what I say was pieced together correctly, it would seem that the robot would represent a reincarnation of that woman he cared about. The robot breaking down was a representation of the woman truly being gone, the rocket that was shot by the robot represented the man's feelings and made him finally realize that no matter what you try to do to replace your loved ones, they will always be the ONLY ones to take the place in your heart. Or at least that's what I got from it.

I kind of broke down the video so I could understand it myself but I wanna type it out incase it helps someone else. Basically, in the MV, this guy is mourning his girlfriend, someone who died years ago. He is currently 41, and the girl was 28 (or I guess the "robot"). I'm not sure for how long he's mourned, but the video mentions a 10th anniversary. The description says its celebrating Suneohair's artist career but at first I thought that was how long he was mourning her death. That'd make him 31 when he lost her. The text that pops up in the MV mentions themes of Pure Love vs Delusion, and how the cold rain reminds him of the day she died. 3:59 reads "Even if this cold rain stops, this feeling won't go away." There are clips of him trying to signal to her using morse code, flags, and such. I think this represents him trying to reach out and send his feelings to her. However, I'm a little confused because she reacts back and smiles. Maybe this is before she died, and he's just trying to communicate his feelings. The concept of the robot is obviously up to interpretation but I believe its the guys attempt to hold onto her, he's seen spending time with the robot and enjoying things like normal. He's "sitting" on it, so he emotionally relies on this robot to move him forward in his daily life. I kind of also see the robot being behind him as "baggage." All in all, he's trying to substitute her presence with this robot. The Love vs Delusion thing I think is supposed to make you question yourself (or I guess its just about him) and how you deal with losing someone you love, do you delude yourself by pretending they're still around? Does pure love turn into delusion? Anyway, the robot finally breaking down could be reality kicking in, whatever feelings or delusions you tell yourself, they'll eventually come out and resurface. He screams mourning this robot of course. Afterwards, he's trying to walk away, yet is still hit by the pain of that death. At the end we're back to the beginning where he's facing the robot, he takes a step back. This might be to communicate he's finally deciding to not delude himself. But im not sure. The same clip is shown in the beginning, so maybe it's a cycle to him. I wish they showed a couple more clips of his life after accepting her death and finding his own happiness. Anyway this is my interpretation for the MV, the lyrics are a little more vague and don't really feel like it's directly about mourning. They say repeatedly about slow dancing, dance with me, etc, and about how the (singer) is unreliable/awkward. But there is a part about how the singer shouldnt be left alone with these feelings (mourning?). Anyway, great song. its made me cry a couple times, losing someone like that and mourning for so long is just so heavy.

There are clips of him trying to signal to her using morse code, flags, and such. I think this represents him trying to reach out and send his feelings to her. However, I'm a little confused because she reacts back and smiles. Maybe this is before she died, and he's just trying to communicate his feelings.
The concept of the robot is obviously up to interpretation but I believe its the guys attempt to hold onto her, he's seen spending time with the robot and enjoying things like normal. He's "sitting" on it, so he emotionally relies on this robot to move him forward in his daily life. I kind of also see the robot being behind him as "baggage." All in all, he's trying to substitute her presence with this robot. The Love vs Delusion thing I think is supposed to make you question yourself (or I guess its just about him) and how you deal with losing someone you love, do you delude yourself by pretending they're still around? Does pure love turn into delusion? Anyway, the robot finally breaking down could be reality kicking in, whatever feelings or delusions you tell yourself, they'll eventually come out and resurface. He screams mourning this robot of course. Afterwards, he's trying to walk away, yet is still hit by the pain of that death. At the end we're back to the beginning where he's facing the robot, he takes a step back. This might be to communicate he's finally deciding to not delude himself. But im not sure. The same clip is shown in the beginning, so maybe it's a cycle to him. I wish they showed a couple more clips of his life after accepting her death and finding his own happiness.
Anyway this is my interpretation for the MV, the lyrics are a little more vague and don't really feel like it's directly about mourning. They say repeatedly about slow dancing, dance with me, etc, and about how the (singer) is unreliable/awkward. But there is a part about how the singer shouldnt be left alone with these feelings (mourning?). Anyway, great song. its made me cry a couple times, losing someone like that and mourning for so long is just so heavy.

in my opinion this has to be one of the most emotional songs i know, even though it doesn't seem emotional at first, whatever mood im in , when i listen to this song it makes me feel warm and calm. this also has one of the best animes ive seen to go with it, this may even be better then your lie in april if i think about it!
