South of Houston here, the weather sucks today but the video made it better. I'd love to come visit the shop.

@paradisefishandpets I have a 35gal acrylic cube that used to be a refugium for a saltwater tank, it's set up as a planted shrimp only tank. It's 24" deep also, just not as wide as yours..I think I need your tank now!

It's amazing.😍 I'd try it myself, but my plants never survive.

You can do it! Good lighting and adequate fertilization is the key!

An amazing cube tank? Check! Maybe a huge fishbowl is next?

why do aquascapers always put too much "stuff" in the tanks? - they could stop with half of the stuff - mostly get rid of the small stuff that makes the tank looks "busy" and detracts from the fish, assuming you want to put interesting fish in there

I think too much is subjective. There is certainly a fine line between too much and just right. I have found that a “cluttered” tank which provides plenty of hiding spaces gives the fish peace to be themselves and feel comfortable in the open.

@@paradisefishandpets good point - I agree. for sure I'd have to stack up more rocks than I'd want to support yellow labs, but the folks that scatter small pebbles and such just make the tank look like it needs to be tidied up. - to me.
