Blade of saldor needs to have an acc and strength buff with crystal armor. Other than that, the abyssal tent is the bis for most mid lvl players. Cheap, minimal requirements, and apply poison. The only reason Blade of saldor is priced high is do to how much the weapon seed cost.
blade of saldor needs a 50% accuracy increase, and 50% more +20 str with crystal armor. it's been a joke of a weapon since release. nothing slash based is good because everything is weak to stab but tough vs slash, and most accuracy increases do sweet FA because you need such an abundance of accuracy to ever make something worth using over just simply doing more damage.

I made about 30m in less than 20 minutes buying grimy guams/regular guams, running to that dude in nardah, making unf guams then instant reselling them on the GE. have to get lucky with timing and pay attention to when this happens. But its happened a couple times the past month.

On May 3rd 2023 the trouver parchment started getting double drops in the wilderness. I understand that's not enough to go from 3K to 33K spike but that definitely contributed to it in some fashion.

Bonds going up in price is also because gp went down in price. 1m is 18cents so it's around 2 dollars to buy a bond compared to the 7 dollars to buy an actual bond

During leagues i bought 248 slippers for 500k-600k each and 25 bowfas for 92m ea. made over 550m profit. Also bought 27k toadflax seeds for 400 ea sold those today for 900 gp ea.

Went back on yesterday to check things out and zulrah scales had rebounded back to ~150gp ea. Pretty wild considering at the peak of the zulrah bot farms scales went down to 91gp ea, but more commonly around 101-105gp ea. Does this mean Jagex is FINALLY banning bots? Can I play the game again?

Yea the price of bonds will never go down. At some point they will be completely unaffordable to f2p players. I mean look at the difference in gold generation between f2p and members. F2p your highest gold per hour is like 500k and that is doing high alch on stuff until you hit your buying limit for all those things. The next best things are smithing or mining runite which is basically not happening in f2p, and then stuff drops into the 200k an hour range. Where as on members you can literally make a mil an hour just tanning dragonhides. Members can afford to pay far more than what f2p people can because they can literally farm up the cash for a bond in less than a day. Where as if you are a f2p person trying to break into members you have to save up for probably an entire week, and that is if you are playing the game like an 8 hour a day job. And then when you buy that bond you are broke, so you either have to start off in members with no money or stay in f2p for another day or two just to build up some cash again to afford some very basic things. Jagex seriously needs to take a look at the f2p economy and do something about that this year or I wouldn't be surprised if the game literally becomes members only (at least practically if not literally) like Classic did before they kicked that to the curb.

if you wanna increase its price make specialty accounts designed to kill the singles + bots. they dont have hard diaries done and cant instant tele. its a great money maker and honestly easy gp. toxic staff bash them after tbing and then the ones that pray melee never get the mage pray right so you can just staff bash/fire surge them with tome. its so easy and free $$$
The ge tax is also driving items up in price as people don't want to lose that out of their "profit" and item flippers are also part of the problem. Before the tax ot was fine but now too many people are concerned about making a certain margin. If certain items had 0 tax (bonds, and certain other items) and the tax bracket was changed from 100gp to 100k it would also help as a ge tax only serves to keep the poor separated from the wealthy. When a t bow gains 100m every other month who cares about the 1m tax

Astrals are rising because they're the least profitable $ for runecrafters around that level. Double Nats, Soul, Blood, & Wrath are all more profitable. The botters probably switched to other runes.

It's a pretty significant buff. It's 7% at high defense monsters + the second buff to scythe coming later. (Scythe is getting +1 to hits 3 min hits while other weapons only get +1 total)
Bonds make sense to me, back in 2017 1-2m an hour was huge and bonds was like 3m now you have 100s of methods 1-2m and can even hit 10m an hour so bonds also equal 10m ish Rs3 is good example 10m used to be a lot bonds was 20m, now you have methods that are 150m an hour so bonds are also 80m only way to fix it is make money per hour a lot lower e.g. make tbow, shadow and scythe all 200m and bonds will be back to 3-4m

What blows my mind is how the removal of duel arena, multiple “bot nukes” and “bot busting days”, literal gold sinks of all kinds being added to the game, and GE tax, Jagex still complains about how much GP is in the game, or about how XYZ is unfair to the “health of the game” yet nuking bots just makes prices even more volatile lol
its pretty straight forward. This requirement for Jagex Accounts is a huge stutter step for botters. Tutorial island is literally empty on every f2p world. They are all busy rewriting their scripts to work with creating Jagex accounts. Bot numbers are going to dwindle and the most botted items will inflate in price, at least temporarily, and most likely indefinitely.
My GE tracker shows that a bond sold a couple hours ago for 12.2m, my membership expired two days ago and I'm not spending that much on a bond, I've been unhappy for months paying >9m. I also refuse to pay Jagex's predatory American-tax on monthly membership, so for now I'm just not playing. I'll play again whenever bonds drop to a somewhat reasonable price or Jagex makes their membership costs fair for everyone. If you grind a consistent money-boss like Vorkath, and do a reasonable 1.5m/hour, that's still >8 hours of grinding just to pay for one bond... Literally a whole work day, no thanks.
So, rather than spend 8hours to get a bond, go get a job. Take the money you earn from that job and buy gp. You'll walk away with 10 bonds for the same amount of hours
Being hacked with 100m in the bank /before/ bonds were 9mil makes me not want to play...seeing that they're 12mil is near impossible for being stuck in F2P with no member's gear, and no combat stats to speak of...the skilling aspect is getting murdered in this market. You've gotta treat it like a job in order to remain a member. It's about to make me say "I quit" and never launch it again.

Nah jagex accounts makes it easier to bot, it's easier to hijack normal players accounts now. Jagex has actually increased ban rates on botting.

It's a pretty significant buff. It's 7% at high defense monsters + the second buff to scythe coming later. (Scythe is getting +1 to hits 3 min hits while other weapons only get +1 total)

Bonds make sense to me, back in 2017 1-2m an hour was huge and bonds was like 3m now you have 100s of methods 1-2m and can even hit 10m an hour so bonds also equal 10m ish
Rs3 is good example 10m used to be a lot bonds was 20m, now you have methods that are 150m an hour so bonds are also 80m only way to fix it is make money per hour a lot lower e.g. make tbow, shadow and scythe all 200m and bonds will be back to 3-4m

What blows my mind is how the removal of duel arena, multiple “bot nukes” and “bot busting days”, literal gold sinks of all kinds being added to the game, and GE tax, Jagex still complains about how much GP is in the game, or about how XYZ is unfair to the “health of the game” yet nuking bots just makes prices even more volatile lol
its pretty straight forward. This requirement for Jagex Accounts is a huge stutter step for botters. Tutorial island is literally empty on every f2p world. They are all busy rewriting their scripts to work with creating Jagex accounts. Bot numbers are going to dwindle and the most botted items will inflate in price, at least temporarily, and most likely indefinitely.

My GE tracker shows that a bond sold a couple hours ago for 12.2m, my membership expired two days ago and I'm not spending that much on a bond, I've been unhappy for months paying >9m. I also refuse to pay Jagex's predatory American-tax on monthly membership, so for now I'm just not playing. I'll play again whenever bonds drop to a somewhat reasonable price or Jagex makes their membership costs fair for everyone.
If you grind a consistent money-boss like Vorkath, and do a reasonable 1.5m/hour, that's still >8 hours of grinding just to pay for one bond... Literally a whole work day, no thanks.
So, rather than spend 8hours to get a bond, go get a job.
Take the money you earn from that job and buy gp.
You'll walk away with 10 bonds for the same amount of hours

Being hacked with 100m in the bank /before/ bonds were 9mil makes me not want to play...seeing that they're 12mil is near impossible for being stuck in F2P with no member's gear, and no combat stats to speak of...the skilling aspect is getting murdered in this market. You've gotta treat it like a job in order to remain a member. It's about to make me say "I quit" and never launch it again.
