Proper GT car? Long-distance cruiser? Yes, and SO much more. The SLS-AMG is a mad supercar on the track as well. Fortunately I can say that I know this from first hand experience. It's world class in every way.

Funny, I did 1,000 mile trip (San Diego to SF) in my SLS a month ago through torrential rains and similar conclusion - it was amazing.
