I like the approach to PPE. Really no special requirements to make workers life miserable. Clean air, low noise, no risk for hands and eyes thanks to particular machinery/process design. I do some work in Gillette factories and they are religious (I mean orthodox) about all possible PPE which really takes away all fun.
What morons at BMW decided & signed off on this engine ? Timing chain built into "the rear" of the block (12.32) meaning to change it is an engine removal from the car at enormous expense for anyone unlucky enough to own a model with this engine.
The engines are assembled and designed in Austria, exactly in Steyr, i know that because i work at exactly this assembly line, and I'm very proud and get a very nice salary!
So satisfying to watch

Really amazing how it's all put together, you still need that human touch though! Robots can only do so much.
Juden Arier robots don’t make mistakes
well sometimes still cheaper have a person screwing one bolt the make a robot for one bolt
I recognise that engine it’s the exact one in my 330d MSport 😂
Video shows the checking of cam timing but doesn't show the setting of it. Would have liked to seen how that was done.
