Very nice explanation! It helped me to understand complete metric spaces in depth. As a physisist i am trying to understand Hilbert spaces in depth because we need them in quantum mechanics. I am doing this just for hobby. Thank you again Mr Tisdell.

At 11:54 I think it would be more convenient to use another subscript for the component sequences on the left hand side of the inequality since 'i' also appears in the summation process on the right.

what if n -> infinity in R^n? I would think this same argument holds true in that case but as you know more than I do, funny things can happen when we go to infinity. is there a special condition I have to account for in that case?
