Pedri defensively today shits on a couple of certain overhyped French players as traditional and natural CDMs. If the entire team can play like this all season there’s a very high possibility of winning a treble. Bayern and Barcelona are the most in form teams in Europe and they just ate Bayern up Mistakes like in the Osasuna and Monaco game aside. VARdrid isn’t touching them how they’ve been playing. Pretty much every group of pundits always shits on Barcelona whether they play good or bad/lose or win/etc. It’s annoying but it’s 1000% a narrative and money issue. VARdrid owns the media in Spain and they’re the team of the capital. They will always push a pro-VARdrid/anti-Barcelona agenda. It’s that simple. If the government and La Liga (led by a VARdrid fan as president and a refereeing committee with mostly ex-VARdrid players and executives) don’t like how they portray the league they’ll just give streaming rights to someone else when the contract is up.
