There were rare cases. Not a common thing. I can’t speak for China ‘cause I don’t live there but when people in Taiwan found out the incident, which happened many years ago btw, people were outraged and since then many laws have been enacted regarding food safety. Please don’t spread misleading information😅
@@pupu41784 theres this shortcake and its called "HTY pineapple shortcake," that is made in Taiwan that they sell in US, and in the bottom of its wrapper says, that it contains acrylamide its a byproduct of cooking or processing high temperature which can cause cancer, and reausing cooking oil is exactly that, and do yout think taiwanese/chinese people will stop using recycled sewer cooking oil cause they "pass many laws for food safety" no i dont think so, people will always find a way not to follow the laws especially in china or Taiwan and guess what, in united states they just caught Chinese or Taiwanese people smuggling "used cooking oil," if they can do that in united states what more they can do in china and Taiwan, im not spreading "misleading information," just simply giving people awareness coz using used sewage cooking oil is just plain wrong
