    amazing that those properties you couldnt give away in the 60s are now so expensive that only the richest hedge fund managers in the world can afford to live there

    Tough times back them 💪 we lived in Wandsworth early 70s had no bathroom had to go my nans in shepherd's bush just down road no one had bank cards back then once you run out of money that was it and people moan now days

    Incredible to think that when I was born, my mum and virtually every other mother in that maternity ward, were smoking in the bed with us babies next to them! It was absolutely normal back then. Also, you'll find many old videos on YT showing women shopping in stores and supermarkets with a cigarette in hand! Quite bizarre in today's world, but normal back then.
