How the mechanics would be like? Would it function similarly to GTA? What happens if you run over someone? I know they said something like 'you will catch the eye of the police depending on the district you are' but would it affect the game story wise?

We will see man. Im thinking they have added damage mechanics (for cars/property), property damage and personal damage wanted levels like GTA. Im hoping driving mechanics are tight so that you can avoid these wanted levels as it will effect your street cred.
