Trou aux Biches - one of the Best beaches in Mauritius | Snorkeling (turtles and much more)

Trou aux Biches is a small town with a public beach on the northern coast of the island of Mauritius, the beach is one of the most beautiful on the island.
Trou aux Biches started off as a fishing village in the 19th century, and its name appears on the Lislet-Geoffroy map drawn in 1807 during the French colonial rule of the island.
It has evolved into a small town with a two kilometer long white sand beach shaded by casuarina trees, snorkeling reefs, boutique shops, a supermarket, and restaurants.
One of the main attractions is swimming with turtles. Before COVID it had 12 turtles, but because the boats didn't go out to see them, they left the area, and now It has just 4.
Please be careful with the turtles, usually, captains ask the swimmer not to swim, just stay in the circle and let the turtles go around, you will see them anyway. Don't touch them, could seriously injure them, cause them to flee, or evoke aggressive behavior. People also can get sick from Salmonella by touching turtles.
Another very important thing! Don't touch and do not stand on corals! I know it can be a fancy underwater photo, but not worth killing them for the future.
