Same with escape the fate and Ronnie vs Craig lol. Escape the fate was SO much better with Ronnie and blessthefall was SO much better with Craig l 🤷🏻♀️
I like how people are saying Ronnie was better in ETF, when we haven't even heard an official song from him and Falling In Reverse. Yeah, Craig was defiantly better here, but he's liking what he's doing now and where he is, and he's happy. Beau is amazing in BTF. Everyone is happy and doing good where they are. No one needs to go back to any of their old bands. Everything is good and fine the way it is for them, and as fans we should be happy for them and their choices.
3:23 Ok so this video proves that BTF invented the Crabcore Headbanging. :) To be more specific, this song is in 4/4. Notice how Craig and Jared Warth are lifting there heads on the second beat and then rapidly descending there heads on the 3rd beat. Headbanging has usually been 1 (down) 2 (up) 3 (down) 4 (up) OR 1 (down) 2 (midway) 3 (up) 4 (midway) repeat. In case you guys don't know what Crabcore is, look up the song Stick Stickly by Attack Attack! and a few seconds into the song all the band members will be doing this unique headbanging. Later on other bands such as Asking Alexandria and many more Rise Records and Sumerian Records bands would be doing this style of music and choreography for a few years between 2008 - 2012ish. The main purpose of this comment is that I've always thought BTF were actually the first Crabcore or Proto-Crabcore band, kinda like with Possessed's Seven Churches being the first Death Metal or Proto-Death Metal record. I know this argument is silly as Genres and Sub-Genres are usually never invented however it does feel like BTF were one of the first to really combine Post-Hardcore and Metalcore.
its cause Craigs voice is already set for blessthefall, ETF is ronnies thing, there are just things you cant mess with and change up and they did it and fucked it up lol.
Me too. Especially in BTF. Thats when his vocals were at his peak. Don't get me wrong, his cleans are still good, but they are a little more mellow compared to how high he would get in some notes in BTF. Also his unclean vocals aren't that great anymore. I think its because he had surgery on his throat, that or all the screaming has finally caught up to him. They dont have nearly as much power and intensity as they did when he was in BTF.
i like how on evry etf video evry one fights over whos better craig or ronnie and then the other ppl say music is music. then on old btf videos ppl want evry thing to go back to "normal" while on the new btf videos with bue no one cares
the golden era of emocore
Listening in 2022 🤟🏼 nothing can replace what this song means to me!
Craig showcasing his ability to screaming intensely and singing clean vocals at same time was really damn impressive!
Still listening 2024
Craig is THE god of vocals!
Blessthefall with Craig = AMAZING | Blessthefall with Beau = good
Same with escape the fate and Ronnie vs Craig lol. Escape the fate was SO much better with Ronnie and blessthefall was SO much better with Craig l 🤷🏻♀️
One of the greatest emo songs of all time. Craig in Bless The Fall was something else. Great era.

Screaming wont hurt you as long as you have proper technique
what a talent,,, see BTF is not cute anymore without craig
fuck i wish i saw this live but i wasn't even in the scene until 2009 (end of middle for me)
So true. The guitarist in escape the fate is decent though. You gotta give him some credit.

@isaiah1989ful Not until now, it is a great song and BTF were heavier with Craig, which I do like, but I just prefer Beau on an all round level.
