      @@LKM-z9d so you can definitely use their oils and their tea rinses and even make the oil like i made with the tea rinse (they also have other tea rinses you can use to make and infused oil with). I think the cowashes should be fine as well and they have shampoo bars that would work too. I would just avoid the hair masques and the hair wash since it may be hard to rinse out the herbs. They also have this Sweet Mimosa Butter that I havent tried yet but its something you could use to lay your hair after refreshing your style (its basically a pomade). Hope this helps

    I haven't been disappointed by any thing I've tried from Hennasooq. You've inspired me to try their co-washes in the future! My favorite is their Henna Gloss Bar. #enterme Some of my hair concerns are excess shedding, dullness, hydration, and single strand knots/split ends. Excited to try the zizyphus wash, the lather it had surprised me, was not expecting that. Also the cassia mask + curls+ moisture and the Goddess mask. Been wanting to try Hennasooq's cassia products for a while now. Always heard good things about them. Thank you for the in depth review of the challenge!

    • @CurlsofaCPA
      @CurlsofaCPA  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Happy to share!! Thanks for sharing your hair concerns too. With the split ends and knots those two definitely go hand and hand. Is it that you aren’t able to get trims regularly or do your ends just split easily? Also how do you typically wear your hair? Asking because I had/have a similar problem

    • @Tgill122
      @Tgill122 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CurlsofaCPA Historically, I would primarily wear braidouts and the ends would curl on themselves making the knots when I detangle during wash day. Lately, I've been blow drying with my Revair, so I've noticed more split ends now that my hair is mostly straight. Admittedly, I haven't been keeping up on trims, so I'm sure a fresh start would help. I have been more mindful with oiling my ends a few times a week, so I'm hoping the extra TLC will help the condition of my ends. Is there anything you've done that has helped you with this issue?

    • @CurlsofaCPA
      @CurlsofaCPA  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      for me keeping up with my trims help but with the pandemic my salon visits have been further apart which my hair hates. In these times when I cant get a trim on time I alternate between keeping my hair in twists for about 4 days or wearing my hair stretched so the tangles arent as bad. I still do twist outs but keeping my hair off of my shoulders seems to work well. I think once you get a trim it will get a lot better for you. The knots will be alot less and even if your hair gets knots it will be easier to get through with fresher ends. If you like wearing your hair stretched you can us braids to stretch it and not use your revair as much since the heat can be drying and dry hair is more prone to breakage. I hope that helps lol I feel like I just rambled lol

I think once you cut off the damage you’ll see a difference but I understand not being ready yet to cut it. So just be gentle and consistent with your routine while you grow it out

    I been wanting to try Hennasooq. The results after the last mask with the stiffness and dryness is my concern. I have fine hair and don't want breakage. I think you said you would have tweeked it a little using other conditioners and such.
    So my question is can you do that and just choose your own conditioner? Does that change up the program or change the results? I'm just saying I thought the point was to follow their instructions to the letter?
    And if you make changes do they suggest what other products to add or use?

    • @CurlsofaCPA
      @CurlsofaCPA  ปีที่แล้ว

      So the program is a guide and you can tweek things to fit your hair needs. Like if I was to do it again I would add a few scoops to a moisturizing conditioner or I would have mixed it with some aloe or coconut milk. You’ll still get the benefit of the herbs. An alternative is to use it as directed and then follow up with a really moisturizing deep conditioner to soften your hair back up

    Why does your hair look as long as it was before?

    • @CurlsofaCPA
      @CurlsofaCPA  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s what I was saying in the end. I don’t think my hair grew a whole lot but I experienced less breakage and was able to retain length even though I really really need a trim
