US and German legal systems are a big part of this, it's easier to hand out parking tickets to citizens who just pay them instead of going after real criminals.
They put us through body scanners and pat downs to be a passenger on a commercial flight and this guy is flying around with a fake license on an unregistered plane, smh.
That's because the government doesn't actually care about criminal activity. Their (the US government) only concern is making sure the general public is cowed and controlled enough to be kept in line.
That because there are far more high jackings that involved passengers not the pilots themselves. 911 for example they learned how to fly and stole multiple planes using nothing more than box cutters and used them to fly into buildings. Almost no pilot has ever done that. Most just crash it into the ground or mountain as a suicide. That's why.

I appreciate your dedication to Pilot Debrief. My brother-in-law is a pilot and I am able speak with him in terms that I can understand at least basic knowledge of his professional world. Thank you for allowing me to expand our relationship by watching this channel.
And with our history, tge FAA is incredibly easily fooled by simple tricks. I hate to say it, but if vehicle licenses have photos, it appears it's time for Pilot Certificates to do the same.
I find it disturbing that the background checks for getting and renewing a Hazmat endorsement on a commercial driver's license is much more intense than getting a ATPL from the FAA.
The background checks are the same for both. Getting your ATPL is much more difficult than getting a HAZMAT endorsement on your CDL. Nader only got a medical certificate from the FAA which is almost an identical process to the one for the DOT medical.
The Aug 28, 2001 pilot's certificate to an Iranian national should have been worrisome enough after 9-11-2001, but the long caravan of violations for decades is insane.
I get nervous when my cars fuel gauge hits half, constantly looking with a weird anxiety. How on earth do people do things like this and live with any sort of focus or happiness?

And that's how another plane will fly into a building killing innocent people all over again because of no oversight. Yet the are making sure the passengers are not dangerous ones.
Two simple additions to a Pilots license by the FAA would solve this problem. A Picture and most importantly a Finger print that the FAA has to access through the FBI. Run the license through a scanner to check for a match and if none then have a nice day.
As bad as this story is, it's nothing compared to what I learned while in Nigeria and having to rely on air transportation. Scariest times of my life. SMH Enjoyed the debrief, Hoover. 👍🏻
Wow, this is totally crazy. And it shows again that the state rather hands out parking and speeding tickets to citizens who pay and make no trouble instead of going after real repeat criminals.
That aircraft should now at least get to go back to the museum, not confined in storage, but proudly out on display, with a history and a hell of a story to tell and some scars to prove it.
Hoover, would you please consider covering the Vultee crash a few years back at 1W1 in Camas, Washington? I’ve looked into that one, and there are some concerning things about it, such as how relatively few hours the now-dead pilot had spread out over decades, and it wasn’t his first time running off the runway, to the left specifically. He nearly killed another person. I haven’t been able to find info on if he had a high power endorsement for an obviously high-powered plane, and though he had an instructor with him the last flight, it doesn’t sound like he always did.
The guy is clearly passionate about flying and periodically at least, seems awash with cash.I always wonder why people like this don't just knuckle down and learn the profession properly - it's almost like they get a buzz from the scamming or just can't but help do things the dodgy way....
It looks like the FAA are too busy making sure the people who fly RC toy planes have their licenses and their remote id unit installed, that they didn't have the time for unimportant things like, making sure that airline pilots are who they say they are.

This is a serial conman whose arrests around the globe that you have been ABLE to find out about become more sinister if you think about what he is more likely up to (human trafficking, drug, gun smuggling; agent for IRG, etc) that being arrested and jailed so many times is so not a deterrent.
Excellent little mystery, Hoover. Thx.
The name Nader Haghighi is basically the Iranian equivalent of "Jim Williams" or "Matt Russell". I’d be surprised if there was only one on the list.
I appreciate your dedication to Pilot Debrief. My brother-in-law is a pilot and I am able speak with him in terms that I can understand at least basic knowledge of his professional world. Thank you for allowing me to expand our relationship by watching this channel.
Overstayed a student visa and became a pilot, where did we hear this one before?
exactly! just what I was thinking.
And with our history, tge FAA is incredibly easily fooled by simple tricks. I hate to say it, but if vehicle licenses have photos, it appears it's time for Pilot Certificates to do the same.
Oh stop overdramatizing everything.
@BlairAir u read my mind bro.I mean I get why they may not do it,but if they did they would've caught this guy sooner.
The FAA gave a deported known criminal a private pilot's license 2 WEEKS before 9/11...
Wow ! Crazy Cowboy that exposed all of the holes in the FAA
Interesting timing. Almost like he knew something was going to happen a few days later
I must have missed the part where any of the 9-11 pricks were Iranian ?!
Are you both missing the fact that none of the 9/11 hijackers were from Iran?
That is absolutely terrifying.
I get nervous when my cars fuel gauge hits half, constantly looking with a weird anxiety. How on earth do people do things like this and live with any sort of focus or happiness?
I think it has to do with how and where you were born and raised (mostly how). Some people's brains are just wired differently. "nothing to lose" mindset.
The psychology of Westerners can't fathom this.
Watching your videos just makes my decision to never fly again seem .more and more logical every day. These agencies have no clue and are just there to place and deflect blame after the fact.
Me too. Ever since the TSA I've not flown.
He was hired as Director of Flight operations at Susi Air in Indonesia. During my time there as operations manager I worked with him for a short period of time until the company figured out he was a complete scammer!
Very interesting story, especially after we inquired with the US embassy about this clown!
I think this is just another example of the incompetence of our federal agencies.
To be fair, it's more because they are hugely underfunded. Security is amoung the most expensive IT investments. Try explaining that to the children we have in Washington.
Willful incompetence
I don’t know what you mean by “our”. He has fooled every agency he has been in contact with. He even fools himself by lying on the amount of fuel available on the aircraft. He is a crafty scumbag….not too hard to do if you can lie with a straight face.
@@BlairAir Could not agree more. Not sure we do need to spend additional billions on FAA security theater. We just have to accept that from time to time people like this will slip through.
@@BlairAir Or to most of the people posting here?
This is abdolutely madness. this pisses me off so many ways. hope they stop this guy from pretending to be a pilot.
"they"? they??
The video started out pretty bad but it's just keep getting worse. It's terrifying to think this individual is still lurking out there ready to con again
Oh. no, he is waiting to CON AGAIN! Terrifying? Not so much.
Absolutely appalling! This license should require a photo ID, fingerprint, and required to be picked up in person!
when us contractor corporate pilots say there are a lot of cowboy pilots out there this is what we mean lol
wow, you just never know who is lying and who tells the truth about anything now days. Thanks for what you report on.
This is the making of a movie.
Called The Current Administration
And that's how another plane will fly into a building killing innocent people all over again because of no oversight.
Yet the are making sure the passengers are not dangerous ones.
Just the kind of person you'd want up there in the air with you. 😵💫
SMH
Enjoyed the debrief, Hoover. 👍🏻
Pls tell Interpol/ICAO
It's pretty incredible how slippery and tenacious this guy is..
The FAA is a wildly inept arm of the DOT .
Three letters: *DEI*
@@ronlanter6906Ok, MAGAt.😂
@@maltlickytexas OK CHOMO
@@George-dy3pt Ok, MAGAt.😂
And DOT is now run by who?
Damn, that is like a movie plot there.
Your story telling ability is amazing. Love all these debriefs! Crazy he got away with so many things for so long
Wow, this is totally crazy.
I can’t help but admire the tenacity,
chase your dream Nadir, don’t let bureaucracy get in your way! 😁
Or mountains?
Incredible research, Hoover. Thanks for the great channel and insight.
That suspended sentence surely showed him and made him stop
I just saw him fly by a couple minutes ago!
"Used cash to buy a learjet he found in a hangar." Sounds legit.
Some guy's are just born to fly. I guess this guy's one of them! 😂
Incredible story that casts a very bad light on all the authorities involved. How can someone like this get away with it for so long?
It looks like the FAA are too busy making sure the people who fly RC toy planes have their licenses and their remote id unit installed, that they didn't have the time for unimportant things like, making sure that airline pilots are who they say they are.
DEA playing catch and release with someone this sketchy sounds weird.
Conspiracy theory: Maybe he secretly works for an acronym agency, like the DEA or CIA. It seems strange that he keeps flying under everyone's radar.
It's that time, let's check it out.
Jesus Christ. Keep this man the hell away from airplanes.
“He somehow made it back into the United States. “
It is tricky nowadays.
lol.
We’re worried about the wrong people.
A miracle indeed.
"Tricky?", surely you jest. Just go down to Ol' Mexico, find the Rio Grande, and walk across. Claim sanctuary. You're good to go. Want a $1000/month debit card and a free flight to wherever you want to go? No es problema senor.
Well that's just insane. He must have the hide of a rhinoceros.
what a resourceful con man, there will be a movie on him one day
That is insane!!!! This makes me nervous!!! How does this dude keep getting away this crap!!! So disturbing!!!
Unfortunately the holes in the Swiss cheese lined up perfectly.
There is a guy in New York, knows the train schedules and procedures so well that he can operate any train on any line that is part of their subway system. Yet the man, who has extreme Autism is not even allowed (I think this may no longer be accurate) on the New York Subways because he was stealing trains and running them correctly and on time.
This is not the first story I have heard of an illegal pilot who loved flying so much the rules just didn't matter to them compared to the experience. It does force me to wonder, how often is obsession mistaken for criminal intent.
"Catch Me If You Can" comes to life.
*Meanwhile, every time I take a flight, 'homeland security' finds a reason to check the state of my colon.*
This guy can fool thr FAA multiple times while they would probably deny me for having taken adhd meds to get through a rough patch of a boring office job during the pandemic lol
Governments eh
This is the most amazing channel on TH-cam! Some of the stories you come up with just blow my mind. How lax the US authorities are for a start. Keep up the good work Hoover. 😊
It's pretty sorry that the FAA is this loose with issuing licenses and verifying who people are.
I remember this story. I even remember seeing a video on TH-cam several years ago showing two or three people who booked a "sightseeing flight" with him in that LearJet (no second pilot) and they made a video about it!
This many aliases and fake Stanford, MIT degrees? You sure the pilot wasn’t George Santos?
FAA makes it nearly impossible for a trans person to fly but freely gives out medical certificates to runaways. Wtf.
it'll be interesting to see how he gets into the US next time. he'll probably just walk in. and we'll be like "oh you lost your phone AND your pilot's license? well lucky for you sir, we have fresh phones and pilot's licenses for all illegal immigrants today."
Yeah. Right. And, there's a bonus. Claim Sanctuary Status and get a free debit card! Yes it's true sir.
biden will welcome him and give him a license
Soon he will be buying one of those abandoned A380s for cash 🤣
Withe respect Nader pulled himself up by his bootstraps and was living the American dream. One has to admire his perseverance and grind. All he wanted to do was fly and work. 100 years ago a guy like this would be a hero.
Nice sarcasm.
You are well and truly f-ed up. Did you walk in from Mexico? to live the American Dream?
@@jdmb03 but was it?
I sure hope the FAA requires photographs on pilot licenses after this. Shameful.
His name was “Nadir”? Ironically that means the deepest, worst part of a situation. The opposite of “zenith”.
