( I’m in year 11) I’m mainly predicted 7s and 8’s but not sure if I’ll achieve that after doing a few of my exams. Also how do you balance dental school and jobs well? I’ve heard it can be an extremely stressful field to go in to so I’m a bit taken back atm. xx
Hiya, 7s and 8s are great - universities mostly look at your UCAT and A levels rather than your GCSE. Right now, most dental schools have online lectures and in-person clinics. When lectures are online, it's easy to work from home - tutoring is probably the easiest and best-paying job for full-time students. I will probably have to stop/reduce my tutoring hours next year as the workload will increase. It can be stressful but most courses are, if you really want to go into this sector then be sure to have a lot of work experience so you can see if it's worthwhile. Good luck!!
You have to apply to websites - I’ve signed up to MyTutor and Tutorful. There’s a short application process and then you get invited for an online interview! It’s a pretty easy process but it’s a bit oversaturated right now so there’s currently waiting lists. You need one qualification above what you want to teach for example you need a biology a level to teach biology GCSE.

I believe combined science is what you need to go into dentistry, correct me if im wrong?
@@user-y1206 oh I don't really know cause I saw physics but I think you mainly need chem and bio.
I did triple - which in my opinion is better for dentistry but combined is fine provided that you get the grade requirements!
