My sister has the same issues with damp Nat /Keith, like you say you can feel and smell it. The council blamed it on a tumble dryer in the house. Maybe I'm not really sure. Never had a sloppy Joe before, enjoyed watching the preparation.
Nat and Keith, that recipe looked fantastic-great job! Sorry to hear about the unfortunate discovery of damp in your house. I hope you’re able to get it sorted out soon. Wishing you a wonderful Christmas regardless. Take care and all the best. 👍 P.S. As an interim measure to help with the damp you could invest in a good quality dehumidifier to help keep the damp out of the air. I own an Ebac 2650 and its brilliant. You need to look after your health so its worth the investment. Cheers.
Thank you Nat and Keith for this lovely vlog your food looks good wishing you good luck with the house and a happy Christmas to you both best wishes Sheila and family
Found that with Aldi prices still going up quality and weight going down stopped shopping there now apart from odd things. Take no notice of negative input they are just sad inadequate people. Like seeing you cooking nice that your getting more involved. Xx
Fond refers to the rich browned bits that adhere to the bottom of a pan when food is cooked over high heat. These flavourful remnants are created when proteins and sugars in the food undergo the Maillard reaction.
Awwhh this is awful for u both.Their is nothing worse than damp in your house especially with Nats health. The food looks delicious..Take care u two.Sending much luv as always❤❤❤❤
I reckon I'll be having Sloppy Joes tonight - but made with either lentils or soy mince. Mine will be using Scotch Bonnets though as I like a little kick with mine. I used to go out with a girl called Jo when I was 19 - I'm not gonna explain why I called HER Sloppy Jo! Chortle.
Crikey how much did you pay these tradesman to do works in your house?! I would have dragged them back like a shot! The food looked wicked as always! Take care both! ….Smithy
@coolerkin Yes I can cook and I used to cook and bake for my kids an family all the time before I became ill Since being ill I have had so many bad accidents in the kitchen I lost my confidence I struggle with my illness which effects everything I do I don't need to feel belittled because I have an illness I don't need to feel ashamed that I've had to put my hands up an ask for help all I'm trying to do is build my confidence back up in the kitchen So no it not weird

Hi guys happy Christmas 🎄 🎄🎅
The burning on the inside of the pan is burn and not caramelisation, that occurs on the food, and then it is flavour.
Fond refers to the rich browned bits that adhere to the bottom of a pan when food is cooked over high heat. These flavourful remnants are created when proteins and sugars in the food undergo the Maillard reaction.
@@pumbar The maillard reaction happens on the food, not the pan
@@grahamjohnson4702 Then why would you de-glaze the pan when you remove the food?
@@pumbar For flavouring sauces soups and gravies
@@pumbar You deglaze as a way to clean the pan to keep its non-stick capability

Nice one nate food looks beautiful 😊😊😊
Great review
Great content again guys
Aww crap, there's a stone or something lodged in the cavity and its drawing moisture from the external brickwork to the internal one.
Never heard of a Sloppy Joe before, looks really nice ...
I'm so impressed that you and Nat try to take things in your stride. I would have been hysterical x A very big shout out to Nat with the cooking.x

Best video yet
Give video Guys x
Can I ask why you have dropped the old food guy name to it’s just Kieth
Might be that she can’t read and follow what to do if she’s that age and can’t cook that’s shocking 😮😮😮
❤ love seeing you both together Merry Christmas to you both
Well done Nat done a good job. Looked lovely ❤
Bloody hell that's all you need. Hope you get it sorted. Sloppy Joe's looked amazing 👌🏻
Bit weird to see a mother unable to cook, let her read a recipe as she'll never learn with you hovering over her and telling her what to do....
Says a person who has no idea why Keith is helping nat,
You clearly haven't been watching Keith and nat otherwise you wouldn't of made such a stupid comment 🙄
Do you usually make fun of the disabled population, for how they cook. And how her carer helps her??
@@chrislazarou7491 Bit stupid of you to ridicule somebody who doesn't understand, why don't you do the intelligent thing and tell him why?
