Free Possum Pattern by rumble_crochet / chzl9zooz. .
I just happened to see a great trick from Loops and Knots Crochet on YT for making/closing that beginning magic ring with chenille yarn and I'm definitely going to try it because I've had the same struggles. She uses a small piece of worsted weight as the "ring" and crochets the beginning round of chenille into that, then pulls the worsted tails to close the ring. Genius, right? Why didn't that occur to me - I don't know! Take a look at her video called "How to Crochet with Chenille Yarn", it's one of the beginning tips. Your possum army is just way too cute - this pattern is on my "to try" list!

What pattern are you using? Did you crochet the legs onto the body or make them then sew them on? How long does it take you to make one? I have Been making them with yarn art jeansyarn. They are really, really small but cute. I make the legs and then sew them on and that is the worst part. It looked like you crocheted yours on. I am going to try that. Love your challenges And your channel. Thank you.
