- DERBY DAY! Here it is everyone, the one you've all been waiting for.. Ipswich travelled to Carrow Road today and lost 3-0 in a disappointing defeat.
Ipswich showed great spirit during the game and personally I think we were unlucky not to get anything from the game. Fair play to Norwich as clinically they were brilliant in front of goal!

Thanks for another enjoyable video - it’s always interesting to see the derby day experience from the opposite fan’s perspective, especially when Norwich goals go in at the Barclay end! I thought Ipswich showed quite a lot of character, without possessing a true goal threat. They didn’t look like a team sitting bottom of the league.

Lambert isn’t a “hero” he’s got a worse record than Hurst did, and somehow his public relations skills has made that acceptable for you all. Completely lacked class today, didn’t get the reaction he wanted from city so he decided to create one. We all talk about what he did for Norwich, but look what we did for him, still getting jobs on the back of his accomplishments at Norwich. Nonetheless, I’m not complaining, town weren’t as bad as I thought they’d be today, but you lacked quality in front of goal, and we were the polar opposite. Maybe we’ll meet again in a few years.

Sneeky_King Surely you can’t say Hurst caused it all, shouldn’t you be looking deeper at Evans’ role etc? Letting Mick’s contract expire, along with some of your best players seems somewhat counterintuitive in retrospect. Hurst did what he could with a limited budget, and what’s Lambert done since he’s come in? Bought in an ancient centre back way past his best (which was never that good anyway) and Alan Judge who had one good year once upon a time. What’s happened to your club isn’t just Hursts fault, you shouldn’t have wished away everything Mick had done for you, he was over performing and now Lambert will be taking you down. I think you’d have more chance of coming back up from league one with hurst at the helm than Lambert, but hey ho.
@@VizualExellence they punched above their weight for the 6 years that Mick was in charge, the high point being the playoff semi-final, which as it turned out was the catalyst for their descent to league 1.
I suspect they will languish in league 1 at best for years to come. The next big East Anglian derby will be Kings Lynn v 1p5wich in either league 1 or 2. OTBC!

Ipswich fans have got used to some very poor quality football if you think that was good from Ipswich. Norwich hardly had to get out of second gear and Ipswich totally played into their hands second half.
Really enjoyable Vlog Alex really takes you to what the Big East Anglian Derby means. l Listened to the match here in London On DAB and Ipswich did dominate for a Lot of the game.Very Urgent the strikers in training just forget all the fancy stuff and practice finishing.l dont know if the club employ a strikers coach but they need to.Obviously Losing Sears was a big blow and Lambo brought a bit of The Old Firm Aggro to The Old Farm Derby!

The Ipswich fans that said they ‘dominated’ us or said that they were better than us on the day, which I’m not necessarily denying, need to understand that we scored 3 on a day that we didn’t even play our best football. Every Norwich fans know that we weren’t at our best on Sunday, and for Ipswich to concede 3 and not score a goal, you can tell that is why Ipswich are where they are in the table currently.

Disappointing game. Great vlog as usual but it’s annoying how we haven’t beaten them for absolutely ages now. Paul Lambert obviously getting sent to the stand doesn’t stand him being a great manager all and all. (It was funny tho) I think if we just cope then we can probably just stay up. Outclassed us really!. We scored so early Norwich stepped off the gas. We were not even in second gear. Blue specs on mate. You have to at least get a shot on target and force a save to say you were challenging us. The tactics of just kick Vrancic till he is injured and subbed off didnt work. Strength in depth and a decent manager. Lambert will take you down 100%

I think to say you outclassed Norwich is wrong. You were the better side but only Norwich were actually trying to play football. Ipswich’s game plan was to press high, get stuck in and kick long . It was a good tactic but Norwich’s quality showed in the end

Just though I’d leave some honest feedback here. To start off with a really well done vlog, and superb camera work.
However would be nice if it came from a more subjective view point. For example I agree 3-0 flattered Norwich but without a doubt they deserved to win despite Ipswich being on top between the first two goals. If you manage the more subjective viewpoint giving both sets of fans good names then you can be up there and be as respected as Benjamin Bloom and Jack Reeve (from talk Norwich City)
