    You can’t become all you were created to be by staying comfortable. Don’t run from things that are hard. Don’t shrink back because you don’t want to put forth the effort. It’s uncomfortable to get honest and deal with your temper. It’s uncomfortable to forgive someone that hurt you. It’s uncomfortable to say, “I need help with this addiction; I’m going to deal with this bad habit.” Gideon stopped running, he faced his fears, confronted his insecurity, and he became one of the heroes of faith.

      Thanks for this msg. I find it very helpful and relatable especially now that I have a new work which I found difficult. This is my first week and yet I am pressuring myself to know everything all at once. I'm even wondering if I made the right decision to join as it's a completely different environment, different type of workload. But you're right, I can't just run from things that are hard. No work is easy at first. I'll put an effort and hoping I'll master it soon. For now i need to handle my bad headache 😅🤕
      I wish everyone to stay blessed! I loved the story for today as it only shows how mighty Jesus Christ is 🙏💯😇 ❤️

      You need to know, understand and believe the message or gospel of salvation and rightly divide the dispensations in the Holy Scriptures.
      This is the gospel of salvation:
      1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV
      Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
      And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
      Galatians 1.8 KJV
      But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
      From here depends the whole message of salvation.

    After having read this account in Mark 5:1-20 more times than I could count, one day when I read the man was “cutting himself with stones” It suddenly struck me I was reading a 2,000 year old account of SELF HARM! • @tubaronesmjzba63

      It is indeed timeless. Mental suffering...most human suffering has evil origins. At some point surely the possessed man made some bad choices that made him vulnerable and or spiritually weakened to the demons who possessed him that he became legion. The towns people revealed they too had weak faith that may well have encouraged the demons too. Humanity and the earth had comprised what is likened to "God's special herb garden"...there is no better way to get the human perspective than to experience humanity...the spiritual realm particularly the angelic and demonic can only briefly experience what humans experience,...the unique textures, scent, touch, sound, sight ..all from an organic physical and temporary reality. We too are spiritual beings living briefly in an human experience. This is amongst Lucifer envies and he failed to grasp until too late. This is ALL God's thing. Not Lucifer's, not yours, not mine...not the pasty self appointed Kings of Nations...King of the earth is Jesus. Jesus is the light, the truth and the way. Our ONLY path to God. We suffer and toil because it's the human life as our test. God has to know who is with him. after we have our time with free will we either choose him or succumb to human desires that separate us from him. Be vigilant. Pray for our nations, pray for our people, pray for justice and peace among the earth's peoples, because that "lion" is devouring all it can find.

      It goes deeper than desperation to be healed. In OT Jewish tradition, Naomi advises Ruth to get close to Boaz and cover herself with the hem of his garment. Signalling she claimed the right of a near relative to be her lord and husband as kinsmen redeemer. She was seeking Jesus out as Lord and redeemer, to be her covering, to be as a husband to her. The healing followed the faith. Jesus came for a Holy Bride. She ticked all the boxes of what he was looking for. A Bride, who will seek Him for Himself; who will accept him as Lord, be cleansed and healed. She wanted the Covernant of Marriage to God. Priests tear their robes for the exact same reason on hearing blasphemy. Signalling to onlookers someone broke the marriage Covernant with God. But then with His body, Jesus goes to the cross, and in his body we are healed. And ripped the veil in two, signalling the way is open to marry God. No wonder He turned around. Someone sought after Him the way He wants.

    This man was in pain and suffering through his possession when he met Jesus . Jesus was a human being who was able to hold the highest presence of God and the Christ whilst present in human form . There was no combat as the presence of Jesus and his love for this man was evident and recognised . Jesus also recognised the holiness of this man created by God and within his alignment with God he was able to create the miracle of release through the powerful love of God . The problem is and has always been that some people are called evil and we do not recognise the presence of the light of God however dim within them . The only true power is love which is what the creator is . In this love comes healing and release . Thank you .

    • @ely2961
      @ely2961 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Bb-pw1zi It's important to understand the narrow context of Jesus' words in John 12:25. The point is not that only those who live in deliberate poverty for example will be saved. Nor is it that a person must perform the right kind of actions in order to be with God in eternity. Rather, this is a reference to a person's state of mind. This is why Jesus uses "love" and "hate," with respect to one's earthly life. Just as Jesus was not commanding people to objectively "hate" their family (Luke 14:26), He is not telling us to objectively "hate" our lives. Rather, He's saying that we ought to put 100% of our priority, emphasis, and effort into the will of God. Those who want to cling to the world, instead of Christ, demonstrate that they "love" the world too much to sincerely follow Him (Mark 10:21-23).
      Jesus is always with you my friend, you don't have to hate your life here on this earth and wait to die so that you can be with Him. That is not what God wants for you. He wants you to bear good fruit and let the light of the Lord shine through you. When you accept Jesus Christ in your heart and you get baptised, you will be given the gift of the Holy Spirit, who will live inside of you, for your body is His temple.
      Therefore, do not hate life itself, but hate sin. Hate that which causes death, but love that which gives life, which is in our Lord Jesus Christ.
      May the peace of the Lord rest upon you tonight.

      I pray that you may find the truth one day in your life.

    • @Nick-mb7wc
      @Nick-mb7wc ปีที่แล้ว

      thats amusing buddy - you have no idea what you are saying do you :)
      Amen is our Christian way of hailing Amun Ra - An ancient Egyptian sun god.
      You literally finish every prayer with a homage to your Pagan God.
      And as for the resurrected Jesus. Jesus is the Sun. its that simple.
      God, our sun, resided in the age of Taurus for over 2000 years. We worshipped a Golden Bull back then.
      Moses arrives as the age of Aries arrives. He destroys Taurus by kicking him off the mountain and declaring him a false idol.
      For 2000 years the Rams horn is blown to show honour to the Sun in the age of Aries.
      Jesus, your lord and saviour, arrives as the Sun moves into Pisces. Thats why the sun (2 fish of Pisces) feeds the 5000 with 2 fish. Or why Jesus Lives symbols are a fish.
      And what does your Lord and saviour say about the new age?
      Go into the city and find the man bearing a pitcher of water. Your saviour will be found in that house.
      And what house is he speaking of? The Sun is moving into the age of Aquarius now, and Aquarius is depicted as a man bearing a pitcher of water.
      Jesus is the sun. You still worship the same thing people did thousands of years ago - You still worship Amun Ra. Just that you call him Jesus.
      Once we are in Aquarius, what will we call the sun? Aqua man?
      Jesus is simply a re telling of Horus, thousands of years before his time.
      The 10 commandments come from the book of the Dead, thousand of years earlier.
      The flood of Noah is a re telling of the Gilgamesh.
      story.
      prominent historians and philosophers have written about so many wonderful people over the centuries. We know deep narratives surrounding major influential figures from long before the time of Jesus - Yet, no one of the time ever wrote about Jesus.
      The irony is that certain people were written about, even if Jesus and Moses were not discussed in their respective eras.
      Tut Moses 3rd is very likely Moses. A real man, of his time, whos story parallels with Moses in many ways. However, we have then ascribed the oldest deity to this historical figure, by merging his story with the ancient worship of our sun.
      Jesus is most likely the son of Cleopatra and Julius Caesar. Caeser was revered as a God by this time - and Cleopatra had declared herself Isis.
      The son of God and the Virgin mother.
      Do you not see enough beauty in this world, and do you not see people as being worth saving, without the notion of God to comfort you?
      Why do we need to ascribe all of this to an ancient Pagan ritual?

      I like reading the Bible. I don't think the story of Ester should be too romanticized. King Xerses was not a good man. He destroys his first wife for not coming to him when she was summoned while he was drunk. Vashti did nothing wrong. She just had her own dinner with her own people. She just didn't want to bullied by her drunken husband. Then he forces young Jewish girls from their homes to be his new wife. He was not a romantic. Maybe he liked Ester enough to save her from Haman. But he was not a good husband.

    This story always begs the question- if Jesus wasnt preaching to gentiles at the time, what are Jews doing raising pigs? Some transliterations has these folks as the descendants of Gad who stayed on that side of the river as their alotment and as such were closer neighbors to the non-Jews living around them. Theyd strayed, and it seems like Jesus made a trip out there to bring them back into the fold. I think theyre aware that they're pretty far from the mark, and in part its why they're so compelled to ask him to leave, as they have no pretense of righteousness (as the Pharisees did) and theyve just seen a very wild thing before their very eyes.
    When Jesus asked the name, Im certain he did so for the benefit of the audience, but thinking about the question- its quite personal between himself and the demon. The demon knows Jesus' name, and in turn Jesus asks him to be forward about which fallen angel he was. When you've been caught, submitting your name offers some sense of accountability. Anywho, thats my personal musings. Great vid as always!

    This is a REALLY fascinating revelation of this well known Bible story. It brought a fresh perspective I hadn’t seen before! Thank you for a new understanding on what is an undoubtedly beautiful first hand account showing the inherent nature of God Himself who is:
    Powerful, in control, constantly seeking out the vulnerable, suffering people the world cast off and left completely alone in their suffering. Then we see He is passionate, compassionate, conquering and restoring. giving the man a new direction, sending him home to use his unique experience to show the eternal hope the Lord offers everyone, healing relationships, teaching God’s natural desire to forgive the fallen nature of mankind.
    Remember, this restored man was being sent home to a family who had all but deserted him, confining him to live amongst the hopelessness and inevitably of death tombs, in chains. His new life was to teach God’s forgiveness by showing his own forgiveness towards his family.
    And, it is only the Lord’s Hope that makes the unbearable bearable. Praise His Blessed Name and His Pure Nature of Love and Mercy! 🙏🙏🙏

      If you look at what Joseph named his sons you would see that the story isn’t about becoming prosperous. Joseph clearly tells his brothers that God placed him in his position to save the seed (which would end up being Christ) not through himself but his brother Judah. I always grew up thinking it was a story of prosperity but Voddie Baucham gave a sermon on Joseph at Godspeak Calvary Chapel that changed my perspective. If it’s your favorite Bible story it’s worth a listen (you can find it on TH-cam). It’ll change your perspective and is an amazing sermon!

    Amen - There were 2 men with demons. ~ 28 When He had come to the other side, to the country of the Gergesenes, there met Him two demon-possessed men, coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that no one could pass that way. 29 And suddenly they cried out, saying, “What have we to do with You, Jesus, You Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?” 30 Now a good way off from them there was a herd of many swine feeding. 31 So the demons begged Him, saying, “If You cast us out, permit us to go away into the herd of swine.” 32 And He said to them, “Go.” So when they had come out, they went into the herd of swine. And suddenly the whole herd of swine ran violently down the steep place into the sea, and perished in the water. 33 Then those who kept them fled; and they went away into the city and told everything, including what had happened to the demon-possessed men. 34 And behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus. And when they saw Him, they begged Him to depart from their region. St. Matthew 8 Amen ~ Peace & Healing to Us All

      You need to know, understand and believe the message or gospel of salvation and rightly divide the dispensations in the Holy Scriptures.
      This is the gospel of salvation:
      1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV
      Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

    Thank you for sharing this video. I just wanted to share my thoughts on this, hoping it will help us to broaden our understanding of this passage.
    To fully understand this passage, we need to read the sequence of events happening in the book.
    1. Here we read of Jesus delivering a man who is totally in bondage and unable to free himself.
    2. Then we read about a woman who had been bleeding for twelve years (twelve is important). She was walking through the crowd, pressing on both sides, and Jesus healed her. Mark 5:25
    3. Jesus Rasing, a dead young girl who was twelve years old (again, twelve is important). Mark 5:42
    4. Then Jesus fed thousands of people in the wilderness. Twelve baskets of food were collected (again, twelve is important). Mark 5:43
    5. Then Jesus was transfigured and met Moses and Elijah. Then, after coming down the mountain, Jesus talked about a rebellious nation. Mark 9:2
    But this time, you know Jesus was reliving the Exodus story that happened many years before his time here.
    Though this passage has its immediate context, it is good to know the bigger context, which is often mind-boggling.

    However, I am curious if there are any stories that addresses physical disabilities like blindness, deafness, pralysis, amputation, an other kinds of physical disabilities.
    Can these disabilities actually be cured during a person's lifetime? For example, could a blind person actually be cured and be able to see like everyone else and drive cars and watch movies and do everything that sighted people can do and take for granted?
