We can't do anything like this in the land of the free. Our overlords think it is way to dangerous. They are looking out for our safety because they care so much about us. Refs, official judges, three weeks of building safety containment areas and 20 licenses and training courses. 10 million dollars later there would be a possible approval or denial.
The ending music, Tsubasa wo Kudasai, is a Japanese graduation song, with lyrics about wanting to obtain white wings to fly away. Fly high, tires, fly high 😔
As a Japanese, I would like to translate this video. Everything is inaccurate because it uses Google Translate. Please reply if you have any questions. 0:00 There are six types of tires to fly: light car tires, sedan tires, sports car tires, 10-ton truck tires, F1 slick tires, and heavy machinery tires. Find the distance of the tire that jumps the most from various types of tires. Verification started. 0:27 The first thing to fly is a light car tire that weighs 4.8 kilograms, has a diameter of 52 centimeters, and costs 7,800 yen. 0:39 Light car tires, let's go! The sedan tires have started. gone! The approach speed is 126 kilometers per hour. 1:50 (Amazing, it might be dangerous, prepare to run away. Are you okay?) 2:00 (Oh, stop, stop) 2:04 You get a flying distance. surpassed light vehicles. Flying distance is 30 meters 2:11 It is 30 meters, which is the provisional top beyond light cars. 2:16 And next is a sports car tire that weighs 11 kilograms, has a diameter of 62.5 centimeters, and costs 84,000 yen. 2:27 Sports car tires go! Sports car tires have started. The approach run is 131 kilometers per hour. Flying distance is 31 meters 2:51 Beyond sedan tires, sports car tires are the provisional top of 31 meters. 2:57 Now, a 10-ton truck tire that weighs 48 kg, has a diameter of 83 cm, and costs 210,000! 3:09 10 ton truck tires go! ! Let's start the tires of the 10-ton truck! ! 3:22 The approach speed is 137 kilometers per hour, which seems to increase the flight distance. Extended! ! ! ! 3:30 This would go a long way. The distance is 44 meters. 3:43 Here, the 10-ton truck tires were far ahead of the other tires, taking the provisional lead. 3:50 Now, a F1 tire weighing 11.5 kg, 56 cm in diameter, and costing 1,000,000 yen flies! ! 4:02 F1 tires, here we go! F1 tires have started. The approach run is 101 kilometers per hour. 4:16 Flying distance is 21 meters, F1 tires, flying distance does not increase... 4:22 The top spot remains unchanged at 44 meters on 10-ton truck tires. 4:27 The last one to fly is a heavy machine tire that weighs 220 kg, has a diameter of 170 cm and costs 380,000! 4:38 Heavy equipment tires, let's go! 4:41 (Release.) 4:44 go! Go straight! ! gone! ! ! 4:47 (Release.) 5:00 go! Go straight! ! 5:11 gone! ! The approach speed is 141 kilometers per hour! ! How is it? Everything depends on this jump! 5:21 (He came straight! Avoid, avoid!) 5:27 (Come!! Stop!!) 5:34 you get results. Tires of heavy equipment, flying distance is 40 meters! 5:43 You can see the final result. 5:50 Thus, another new trivia was born in this world. 6:00 If you roll a tire on a ski jumping table, the most jumping is a 10-ton truck tire with a flight distance of 44 meters. This is (obviously) the most epic thing I've ever seen
i never get 'tired' of watching this
cant believe there are people in the impact zone trying to "catch" a 150 kg tire coming with 50-60 km... That was the most intense part for me
It was way faster than that
Could you imagine getting blasted by one of those at the bottom
@@Tubeite final destination material right there
@@saltnugget man I'm eating rn
And they try to casually catch it with a foam mattress. One mistake from your partner and you're gone.
It's always good to see the Japanese breaching the most important questions.
Because someone would turn into
A. Political Debate
B. Covod Debate
C. Gender Argument
D. All of the above
Loved this! Japanese comedy platinum! Next let's see the same contest but with each tire mounted and balanced! Similar rim construction as would be used in each tire application!
I love how dramatic and suspenseful everything on Japanese TV is. The announcers sound like they're confronting the man that killed their parents. Then there's some random laughter thrown in.
This used to be one of my favorite TV shows growing up in Japan. 😂
(Called Spring of Trivia for anyone wondering)
Do they roll more stuff down the hill other than tires? I would love to see snowballs being rolled, frozen with nitrogen so they don't break apart.
Don't we all love it? In a world where we can see some tires going downhill and enjoy it.
2012-2016 was peak Happiness 🥲
No not really
Finally a solution to the problem of what to do with Olympic Winter Sports conplexes after the olympic games conclude
What we learned...
Big Tires + Ski Jump + People Scattering + Mindless Destruction = COMEDYYYYY!! 🤣
Wow. Working from home has really opened my eyes. There’s a whole world out there I’ve been missing
Stop watching TH-cam and get back to work 😂
😂👍
This looks so fun. I want shows like this in the US
We can't do anything like this in the land of the free. Our overlords think it is way to dangerous. They are looking out for our safety because they care so much about us. They would need every agency in the country to do 10 years of studies and research to make sure it was OK to write 25 permits to allow such a dangerous sport to take place for one day. Refs, official judges, three weeks of building safety containment areas and 20 licenses and training courses. 10 million dollars later there would be a possible approval or denial.
I would like to see this done in USA, but still have the announcers speak Japanese
That's big capp.
Would be sooo boring compared to the way these guys do it!
Watch most extreme elimination challenge
Japan is a fascinating place !
From the tractor tire-O to the closing music, this is a perfect video.
I lost it when they played "Tsubasa wo Kudasai" (Please Give Me Wings) as the outro song...
Is it just me but I strongly feel that the last tyre really deserves a second run, that one thing has thrown the whole sport into scrutiny
This peaked my interest, I got immersed, and I finished the video feeling well rewarded for my immersion. Peak comedy and entertainment
That last tire had me ROLLING 😂
This shouldn't be exciting, but it is and I love it!
wtf
The ending music, Tsubasa wo Kudasai, is a Japanese graduation song, with lyrics about wanting to obtain white wings to fly away. Fly high, tires, fly high 😔
Well, this is the best video I've seen in weeks. I couldn't stop watching it. 😃
I love it, can't understand the words, but the point was clear, and really funny.
As a Japanese, I would like to translate this video.
Everything is inaccurate because it uses Google Translate.
Please reply if you have any questions.

If you roll a tire on a ski jumping table, the most jumping is a 10-ton truck tire with a flight distance of 44 meters.
Thank you for watching until the end.
Domo arigato but somehow it was more entertaining when I didn't have a clue of what was being said.
Lol , this was fun to watch! I do not speak Japanese , but it didn’t matter. The enthusiasm in the announcers voice made this video great!
The Japanese people always have wild game shows and contests. So creative.
Rolling tires downhill is fun and this adds a "scientific" air to the fun. But that last tire wiping out the ramp was hilarious.
Japanese editing is so amazing, even back when this was on the air.
450-pound tire.. Destroyed everything in its path.
450-pound tire stops for nothing, and for noone. Don't go changing for anybody 450-pound tire, you are the best.
Some people tried to stop it... I was like: "ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR FUCKING MIND??" LOL!
Well that's an expensive tire
485-pound
(220 kilos)
@@Tranceplant82 they were slowing it down and if they didn't, it probably would have gone trucking right on through that steel fence at the bottom
I love how they keep showing footage of ski jumpers. Just constantly reminding the audience over and over that _'Hey, this is kind of like ski jumping, except with tyres instead of people'_
I love how aware they are of their own silliness.
One of the best videos on TH-cam
One the best videos on TH-cam!
Absolutely class. Going to see if there's a season of this available somewhere.
You found anything yet?
@@axelthegamer2470 Unfortunately not. I don't even know the name of the program. I'll update here if I do... 👍🏻😎
It's called "toribia no izumi" aka "fountain of trivia" in English. I haven't found any way to watch it yet though...
@@michaellynch1018 Thanks for the info!
Easily better than anything on American TV today
best thing ive seen on youtube this week
This is so COOL 😎!!!
I clicked on this out of curiosity... but had to watch it all.
I think Mark Rober needs to try this one, and explain the physics 🤔
