I had such high hopes for "the chairman" after his match with Cody. I thought they would make him a middleweight champ or something. Than he joined the pinnacle and i regained hopes yet again. They really dropped the ball with him. Sure hes not perfect, but i likened him to Tully as us champ before his fued with Magnum. He could have been so much more than a joke who wins every match thats not on dynamite.

I just think it's a case of bad timing with Shawn Spears. In an era with faith from creative and a push, that Chairman gimmick is a total money maker. Perhaps it might be an age or injury thing but that's a totally awesome gimmick with the music and entrance to it. He mentioned learning to put his foot down so perhaps he might have been a lil too nice perhaps.

Shawn spears is in the same boat with ethan page he's talented but here's the thing it doesn't matter where he goes he's nothing more than a mid card level talent. And in my opinion they think by jumping ship from aew to the wwe ol paul lesvesque is going to make the universal champion or wwe champion or whatever the hell their main titles are but in reality they're dreaming because it's not gonna be reality. They're both better off on nxt because if the move to the main roster they're gonna find themselves unemployed. And that's not me knocking them that's just me stating my opinion which 99% true.
