For some reason, this fight made me remember that Hiro and Mimori never had an on-screen fight, and that just makes me sad, even if I didn't care about either of them.
Only 12 episodes in and I feel like Shadowverse Flame is already better than the previous anime. Like almost everyone feels more fleshed out and likable while having a solid story while explaining the card game properly. Seriously, must’ve gotten new writers or something
The problem about the other shadowverse, is that they tried to maximize the number of fights And the decks were generic by class, so anyway there would be no purpose on seeing the full fights anyways
Yeah but I thought he had some special effect when he evolved or if overflow was activated because it’s normal effect it’s not a really good effect by being a legendary follower
@@manuelvfc6254 I think that Armed Laevateinn Dragon have a completely different set of effects. It was said that Hammer Dragonewt was an Armed follower, not Laevateinn Dragon. They’re keeping Armed Laevateinn Dragon hidden so it can be used for a season boss or maybe the final boss.
@@truestrixian6496 if Laevateinn Dragon is not a armed follower, probably the armed form will get used against Haruma, if i am not wrong, probably in the second fight, we are only in ep 13, and Light started a fight against him, i think that maybe he will lose, and decide to train, to fight him again, in this arc
Hm...this was a great battle. But I kind of wish that she won. Hear me out. What would have happened if Light lost, but genuinely had an amazing time and learned a lot of new stuff about the game, while Tsubasa won, but is now confronted by the fact that the fight didn't actually bring her any joy? Her mindset wouldn't have been directly opposed, but it would be invalidated because this guy just DIDN'T GIVE UP, even though he couldn't win? I think it could have done a lot to kickstart some character growth for both. Light, because we have another strong rival for him to defeat. And Tsubasa, by giving her a reason to find enjoyment in playing the game itself, rather than simply dominating her opponents. I dunno. I think it's an interesting lesson for a character to learn in a show like this, and one that often isn't shown by female characters...then again, Shadowverse is one of the few card game anime that lets them actually win games on a regular basis, so there's that, too.
@@Odd_Eyes Hey, better now than when the storyline inevitably becomes about saving the world, right? Besides. It's more important to make captivating stories with the gameplay, and have interesting consequences from the result. This was good. I just think it could have been better, is all.
@@Odd_Eyes I'm okay with him looking like a loser at the beginning. He doesn't have to stay that way, after all. His duels never seem "bad", he's clearly a good player, just inexperienced. While his opponents have been extremely skilled, and that came through. Light doesn't have to be a big deal. Not at the beginning. But that would make his growth INTO one all the better. I guess my point is; winning isn't, in itself, interesting. Playing a good game is. And in anime, how the characters grow and change during that game is interesting. I'm of the opinion that it's arguably more interesting if someone loses, but wins the underlying conflict of the duel (such as enjoying themselves, or battling against impossible odds). It really sells the idea that winning isn't everything, but it also doesn't say that winning is worthless. I dunno, I'm on a tangent, either way, lol. I love the AMV dude! Keep up the good work, I love watching them!
I think she needed to lose here, otherwise very bad things would have happened involving everyone's and, specially, her growth as a character. Also Light was in need of that W lmao.
