    Good job, Paul. A great example of how to do a "how to" video. Succinct and to the point with very valuable info.. and I don't even use Protools !

      MusicManxxxxx Thanks! If you do start using Pro Tools, you know where to look for tutorials ;)

    Hey Paul! It would be great if you could make a third part, or maybe a separate video, showing how to do the best de-noising, regardless of the time. It would be very useful to learn how to do it perfect (and you could also reuse the goldfish clip haha)

      Hi Vicente. Thanks for the suggestion. I could certainly make a more detailed video about perfecting noise reduction, it just depends on whether or not people would be interested in sitting through it. I'll have a think about how it could work :)

    Thanks for your videos, I really find them very useful and well explained! Could you make a future video talking about mixing techniques for dialogue like sends for reverb or compression? Thanks :)

      No problem. They're currently only showing in 360p so hopefully the TH-cam processing will catch up soon and they'll be available at full resolution!

    RX7 Advanced’s Dialogue Dereverb is great, I get more transparent results than with regular Dereverb, but yes, Advanced is expensive. Sometimes Dialogue Isolate also removes some of the roominess which is a nice bonus.

      It's expensive but very good and it pays for itself in no time. I started with RX standard then upgraded to Advanced when RX6 came out. I'm on RX8 now and it's better than ever.

    Please considder making more videos on Noise Reduction. They are lacking on TH-cam.

    • @paulmaunder3007
      @paulmaunder3007  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'll consider it. I'll have to cover different aspects in order for it to be sufficiently different to these videos.

    If you follow up with another noise reduction video, could you talk about workflow in the context of a larger session and total run time. When do you reduce noise? After cleaning up fades? Before or after EQ and or effects? Do you always render them down and how do you manage changes and snyc with video? Thanks for sharing your expertise with the internet. High quality Pro tools audio post tutorials are hard to find.

      @@qwertyki9367 It's a bit off topic here but the goal of parkour is to become more capable at negotiating obstacles, both physically and mentally.

      He has a strong accent. He says "No, no. no. no. What about Jim and Peach? They both died when that van rolled and that was no accident either. I checked that motor before".

    • @MusicManxxxxx

      Indeed, he has a strong East London accent. I doubt that there's a decipher plugin for that (Oi Oi, Saveloy!)
