I had a used 2007 model with the same engine as my first car. Had it from 2012 to 2018 no problems. Light steering, easy to shift gears great visibility, great interior space, comfortable ride. Such a good car for beginners.
I am driving a 2008 1.2 80hp Corsa D. It's very similar to this one but it has a bit better seats, steering wheel buttons and maybe a few more little things. It's a very nice looking city car. It's pretty comfortable even the back seats. It could use a bit more power for highway driving but other than that it's still a great second hand car to buy
My parents had the same model and the same engine, it was a 3-door, I had it on loan for a few days, it was a good car, the performance in town was sufficient, but just on the major axes. Quite firm comfort, typically German. Very good video Joe.
It's an ok car to go around town. Seing this as a true VW Polo enemy I'd say yes but only when you consider the difference in price. That said both Polo and Corsa are typical european subcompact cars. So At 120.000km usally they start getting expensive so here are my tips for the Corsa and thinks so point out: -Every GM Opel Model had problems with the door latches. Just like this model when you close the door you can clearly hear the "crack sound" nothing to really worry about as long as the door is not sinking down and no longer closes correctly. -5 speed manuals are the most common options. I don't like how scratchy they shift but they hold up pretty well considering that most subcompact cars mainly go around town and stuff. -All gas/petrol engines in the Corsas are so called "Family 0" Opel engines. The 1.0 3 cylinder, 1.2 and 1.4 all suffer with timing chain problems. Just start the car when it stood for a couple of hours and hear for a rattle sound it's usally very easy to notice when the timing chain needs replacement. Also all engines usally leak some oil but you should get checked where it's coming from a known weak point is the oil pressure sensor unfortunately due to gravity it drops down and below the that is the wiring harness and from that right into the control unit which obviously leads to expensive problems..So get that checked like I said the oil pressure sensor is a VERY well known problem. -The plastic steering wheels lock horrible even after a short period of time..Buttons lose the color coding so a lot of cosmetic stuff. -Suspention wise they're ok nothing that is a known problem here. -The 1.3l diesels are made by Fiat they're fine but not powerful or superfast. Just look at the common diesel problems: EGR, Turbo, carbon build up, don't get one that was driven on short distances these engine in particular hate that tho they warm up pretty fast since they're so small. -The flipkeys go bad if you hang to much weight on them (to many other keys or keychains) -Airvents can brake without ever touching them. Other than that no major problems a city car you should be able to drive til you hit 200.000km without to many problems. Also if you drive an Opel or just wanna try one but got putoff buying one because I told y'all this stuff, don't get histeric. These are more or less common issuess but might not refer to yours. ^^
the 1.3 diesel engine also has some problems with the injector o-rings breaking aswell as the return line aswell, it happened to 2 corsas of mine. The 1.3 diesel with 75/95hp isn't a beast, but the ecoflex(euro 5) variants provide you with very small fuel consumption which is always welcome if you drive on long distances. I can comfortably cover 2000km with only 90-95 liters of diesel, which I do since I travel across Europe. The biggest problem those diesel engines have is glow plugs breaking. My glow plugs gave up at 90.000 km-110.000km on both corsas.
Finally your driving my car! I have a Vauxhall Corsa D 2009, diesel, I love it and the fuel lasts forever! Very cheap to run and the cars still look modern I think.
Joe is a time traveller. It shows 2007 on the display! :O As boring as it looks from the outside, it has a fair amount of boogie, a bit of pep, and a dash that is clutter free... Guess there is more beneath than what meets the eye.. Nice one, Joe!
Yes!! I have corsa D 1.2 ''4cy'' 2013 model the basic one and my A/C not working anymore i have checked it when i turn the A/C one the clutch for the compressor working but no cold air blows 😢😢😢 why?? I need to know what is the problem
I have a opel Corsa d 2012 and it’s fantastic did some upgrades to it like: front speakers are jbl, jbl subwoofer, apple carplay and a rear view driving camera.
My corsa, also model d had started to have problems on 7th year of using, about 100000 km. It is time to replace it… pretty reliable to that mark. Now i am gunning for kia xceed or skoda kamiq.
I own the 80PS corsa for over 2 years now and my one is accelearating a lot faster than the one in the video. I see that the Service light is turned on while on the highway. This indicates, that you should replace the oil or it will lead to engine problems. Thats why the car is so slow. Much faster if you shift at 4500rpm
Mam identyczną ten sam silnik. Ten sam lakier. Tylko wyposażenie wysokie (opcjonalne fotele, aliminiowe felgi opc, wielofunkcyjna kierownica, tempomat, automatyczna klimatyzacja, podgrzewanie foteli i kierownicy, duże radio z komputerem pokładowym)
@@P1500-y7m no np. 4 tys. aż słychać że wyższego biegu się domaga a on go ciągnie tak.

Agreed 😂 good cheap car. Just sold it for an Audi and I miss our adventures that’s why I’m watching this 😂
I might gonna get one in 3 months
I have this car and I fell in love with it at first sight. Every time I drive an Opel, I have a lot of fun driving!
I've tested that engine and always surprised me for its performances and low consum in a 1.2 n/a engine....good test Joe!!

Jedziesz sobie spokojnie i tu nagle CYK wyskakuje autko z kluczykiem. Chyba nie ma nic gorszego. :D
Brak slow , mam ten sam problem....
Podłączyć pod komputer i będzie wiadomo. Pedał gazu na przykład może być wadliwy.

Hi
Dlaczego jeździsz na tak wysokich obrotach?
Gdzie niby

🙂👍🇹🇷
If you get a bad engine, good riddance
No offence, but your jacket suits this type of car.
And your comment suits section-trolls :0P
Very good car ❤️❤️❤️
