Coach Keefe built a strong bond with the team in such a short time. That's a big deal because it means they trust him. Not to mention he and Vanterpool have worked with the best of the best as far as development goes.

Is it just me or do a lot of Wizards media personnel not like Poole. Chase's statement " If Poole is still there." Was interesting.
It's typical that things can change in the NBA and trades happen all the time but
Will Dawkins spoke about Poole on a podcast last week and he seemed to give a really strong vote of confidence about him saying he was excited about him.
He said he knew Poole didn't have the start to the season he would've wanted but what they saw at the end was what they expect to see going forward and he was a player that would be with him moving forward.
Why does Chase think Deni and Corey won't be traded but Poole who Dawkins confirmed they traded to get isn't safe?
Chase isn't the only reporter that has spoken in this manner. Ava Wallace and Jason Smith as well.
It's interesting because I would love to know who they think the Wizards should get that will be better than Poole.

I heard that too. Poole hooped once they moved him to PG. That's what they were looking for him to do so I don't think he'll be traded.
The Warriors made that mistake and they weren't better without him.
Now they gotta find someone to replace his scoring.😅

Basically the coach realized poole is not a starter and fits better as a bench scorer don’t get me wrong Poole is a player but a bench player and a lot of good players are bench guys bad thing is Wizards have a lot of bench guys not to many starters

You must not have watched the whole season. Poole was moved to the bench to get the ball in his hands since Tyus was already the PG. He quickly went back to starting when Tyus got injured and did extremely well. Averaging 20ppg and 5 assists after the change. He averaged 23ppg, 8 assists and 4 rebounds in his last 10 games while starting.
Him moving to the bench wasn't the change. It was the fact that he was being made to play as an off ball SG.

@@peaceful344 the last 10 games he had to do as much as he could because we had G league 3rd stringers hahaha oh I watched and he’s a bench scorer that’s all he’s ever been

@@peaceful344 it’s funny I’m over 40 years old I’ve seen plenty of basketball remember Jeremy Lynn hahaha pretty much same guy it’s easy to score 20 when you are the only guy taking shots I believe Jeremy averaged over 20 one year and he’s a bench guy too so I don’t see much deference it’s just basic math more minutes less talent someone has too shoot and handle the ball
